Peucang Island

Peucang island is part of the ujung kulon national park located in the westernmost place of java island. We need to take 3 hours boat from dermaga sumur to reach this island. There you can find many wild animals even newr the cottage like monkey, deer, boar and monitor lizard. The beaches is very nice with one of the softest white sand you could ever find. You also could do many activities here such as snorkeling, kayaking and trekking to the other part of the island through the forest. The electricity is just work from 6pm to 6am, so don't expect much for it.

I'm in love with the place. It's still nature and you get to experience to see wild life real close. Took 3 hours to get here, the food was great but you won't get to sleep comfortably. lots of monkeys and deers. One of the place you should visit at least once in your life!

There's no denying that the island itself is a true gem, promising a visual feast for anyone seeking respite in nature's embrace. However, my experience was tainted by the subpar service of the open trip that I joined, which resulted in overcrowding.

Poor sleep due to the uncomfortable bed and the dismal bedroom accommodations and the inability to upgrade due to overcrowding.

Lucky to spend some times here. I mean, It is a national park bro. It is protected by law. And it is no wonder that this island is pristine. No people is allowed to reside here.
This island is guarded by the staff. The cleanliness is managed. However, there is Cottages and kiosk provided for the visitors. One more thing, this is not as commercial as Bali and not as far as bali by distance from Jakarta. Yet, this island is quite and not many Jakartans know about this island. It is highly recommended bro and sis.

Beautiful island, beautiful beach! The water is super clean and has nice bluish gradation color. Access from Sumur to this island by boat is approx. 2.5hour.

Though, they don't have many proper homestay here. If you're coming with big groups (up to 5 persons) I recommend you to choose Villa Angklung, or Villa Batik if only 2 of you. Both villas are provided by Nikki Resort.

Electricity is only available from 6PM-6AM. Also, only Telkomsel provider that works here. Good thing is you can fully focus on ur holiday 😀

What I hate the most: the monkeys.

What a beautiful island.. the white sand beach it's so tempting to explore 🤗🤗

There is no luxurious hotel here, so dont expect much. We are here for the view and atmosphere, because it's like a small heavenly island. All about nature.. We can feed wild animals like deers, boars, monkey, that lives around us.

Great experience, an adventure park

Peucang island is located in the most western part of java island. The island was very nice, and the view was great. You may found the deer, the lizard, the boar, the monkeys, and of course the beautiful sea creatures.

Last holiday I went to Peucang island. This place is located in Ujung Kulon, Banten. The island is filled with beautiful beaches. The island is not so big, but there the facilities are complete.
I went there with my friends, we drove there from Jakarta. The journey was very long because it took about 6 hours to get there. after we arrived, we need to take a small boat; to finally get to the island. After we arrived there, we went to the lodge and took some rest.
Peucang Island can be a holiday alternative for people who do not have much money. Me and my friend only need to pay 750.000 rupiahs for three days and two nights for hotel, food, and water games. I have a lot of fun there and definitely will recommend this place.
