Bandar Udara Internasional Jawa Barat Kertajati

Having a cup of coffee at Warung Kopi Nikmat at Kertajati International Airport brings a surge of delight and adrenaline to my heart. Having used KJT for my first flight, I no longer have any concerns regarding the airport's capacity to accommodate passengers.

A great and peaceful airport, beautiful services, not crowded and cheaper than other airports. Easy transport to get here with travels/shuttle buses and eventually they will hooked up a train line. The scenery on the way to the airport is spectacular with rural settings and not traffics.

By Nov 21, 2018 there’re only 1 airline from Kertajati. Operating everyday though flight only Monday-Wednesday-Saturday. I’ll update again in the future when i come again.

There’s only 1 convenient store located at departure gate. Try to grab your needs here.

There’s Damri (Government Owned Bus Company) from and to Bandung. Serving every available flight schedule. Depart from North Bandung Station every 04.30 am (arrival around 07.30 am). And back to Bandung around 09.00 am. Price is 75K idr (5 usd).

My review on Aug 24, 2019. There’s still one major airline operating. Then was citilink, now is mostly lion air. Air asia to Surabaya on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday only. Still not much improvement. Though you can get damri bus for free to Bandung until mid 2020. There’re food stalls here but that’s all. Maybe adding hotel or dorm for immigration and flight crew will make this airport of West Java become more lively.

New airport for West Java. unfortunately there is no freeway infrastructure (being built and still needs time to finish) to the capital of West Java, Bandung. although the airport layout is quite good and modern, unfortunately the number of flights per day is still less.

New airport that located in small city, Majalengka.
Kertajati Airport is very useful for passenger from Cirebon, Karawang, Purwakarta, etc because going here is faster than we go to Halim, Husein, or Soekarno Hatta

In this early June 2018 still one airlines has used this airport, hope next time some airlines will utilize this airport soon.

Enjoying night visit to BIJB Kertajati airport...at the time we visited at around 8 pm, the departure and arival lanes were closed already, but we still can hung around the parking area...😁...it is not as big as the Terminal 3 Ultimate, but we proud to have new international airport nearby home...

It's about 2,5 hours from Bandung City. But you can easily book public transportation at the airport, such as Damri. Unique design and architecture. It's clean and a bit quite.

I absolutely agreed with government that has been built this airport This is good solution from government in accordance to have another transportation facility in Indonesia. Expected that all provinces in Indonesia having the same facility. So that we are not only depend on to Jakarta Soeta Airport. I believe in the future we will have a good route to reach this airport from bandung city.

Will be the second biggest International airport in Indonesia after Soekarno Hatta airport in Jakarta.
Had largest and longest runways,
Completely with all of comfort public facility.

Due to of Covid19 pandemic BIJB kertajati Majalengka temporarily closed, but super amazing how wide are preparing for future as second big Int'l airport in Indonesia at the moment.
