First time came to Timika, maybe this is the best airport at Papua...

This airport have :
- ATM Centre before entrance gate
- Parking lot both for car and motorcycle
- Wheel chair & Acces for disability chair
- You can show your Company UIDby freeport as Identity Card when entering gate before X Ray Screening
- Majority Freeport Indonesia and it's contractors use this airport.
- There is bakery in the waiting room
- Land transportation to HL use this airport, too

Just visited this airport for the first time, in other parts it seems that a new airport terminal is being built. Hopefully it will be a magnificent and awesome airport

Its not a really big airport but when you flying here from example Jakarta to Timika this airport means a lot...all over the airport full of Freeport Indo company sign..from here if you wanna go to Tembagapura you can took chopper or a bus...chopper only works when good weather..chopper only took like 15 minutes but if you take a bus its gonna be 2 hours....
