Big K Hostel

Had a great stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hostel itself was really awesome. Great common area and even a jamming session in the evening every now and then. Highly recommend!

Truly enjoyed our stay at Big K. Mbak Fani and team took great care of us. On our final day, the folks at the kitchen made us an amazing breakfast too, with smiles on top. Can't be more grateful for the hospitality that we were offered. Thank you so much 💚

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for a week and truly loved everything about our stay there. Clean, spacious double room with great views, perfect location (just outside the busy center of the main town but still close enough to walk there by night), comfortable bed and nice breakfast. The best thing about this place though are the wonderful people who run it. They helped us with everything, from renting a scooter (and quickly fixing it after we had a flat tire) to arranging a much needed money transfer (atm on the island only works for Master Cards!) and getting us last minute ferry tickets. They also invited us to a boat trip (which we loved!!) and offered lots of activities like snorkeling or hiking trips. If you think about staying there, go ahead and book it already! You‘ll have a great time and support a local family business.

I recommend this hostel to everyone traveling to Karimunjawa 🦋 nice comfy rooms, good breakfast , close to the city . Fani - girl working at the reception was really helpful , she helped us with lots off stuff. Thank u for amazing stay 🫶

Had a quick get away to Karimun Jawa and stayed at Big K. Very comfortable place with friendly staff. Big K arranged a surprised honeymoon set up at our room and dinner that was super tasty. We also rent out their boat “The Minggu Pagi” to go to Menjangan Island to go snorkeling which were excellent and then enjoyed a perfect sunset from the deck of the boat on our way back. Super excellent! Would be back for sure 😊

Room is cozy and clean, quite spacious,
no TV but it is not a mandatory if you are staying in karimunjawa and planning to go island/beach/snorkling hopping in day and grill seafood festive in eve,
also karimunjawa have a problem with electricity where each eve and morning it will be turned off for several hours, so all property will need to have their own power generator

Overall, it is a recommended property (based on our assessment for this room type)

Had such a magical week in Karimun Java and staying in Big K Hostel. The place was really clean, the room was comfortable, the view was beautiful, the food was good, and the staff was so friendly. It's a new hostel so all the accommodation were still new, all wooden and really natural. Away from noise but it's easy to go to the beach or to the town. They provide motorbike rents as well. Snorkeling, fishing and all kind of activities. The price is really good for such services. Thank you so much for the hospitality and fun times for Ami, Sugi, Fany, Santi and Edo.

It's a pleasure to be here and meet with Jack and his father ( Mr. Andrew). They are so kind and humble. The hostel is very good and the design of the wood is look luxurious. The food also very tasty. I wish this hostel will be one of famous hostel in Karimunjawa Island.

kamar menyatu dengan alam, layanan sangat bagus, lokasi lumayan strategis dan tidak jauh dari pelabuhan..
suasana paginya itu lho yg bikin betah..ada suara burung dan banyak makaka-nya..😁😁,,secara overal keren ini hostel..

Tempat nyaman, tenang dan bersih dengan harga yang terjangkau, dapat video jendela langsung laut yang bagus banget, ada rooftop yang bisa terlihat laut langsung, breakfast roti dan buah

Top plek! De dorms zijn schoon en er is veel ruimte om je spullen neer te leggen. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte is erg fijn en groot en er was een gitaar wat altijd leuk is. Verder was het personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De plek is iets verder van het centrum, maar dat maakt het juist lekker rustig. Met de scooter is het 2 minuten naar het centrum. Fijne plek om mensen te ontmoeten maar ook te relaxen!
