Karimunjawa National Park

This is another place that you need to visit in Indonesia. An island that has a hidden beauty away from the city. There are a lot of activities out can do here including snorkling, beach hopping and many more. There are a lot of beautiful beaches here.

You can ride a boat from Jepara or Marina Bay, Semarang.

Nice destination to travel. You can take big ferry called Siginjai (it can accomodate your vehicle) for 4,5-5 hours from Jepara. Or the express boat for about 2 hours (but you can't bring your car/motorcycle with you).

Also, I suggest you to book a trip (at least one day trip with islands hoping) so that you can explore many small islands, along with snorkeling at some spots.

Night seafood at Alun Alun Karimunjawa is highly recommended! They sell fresh fish, lobsters, prawns, and many more.

Once you experience Karimunjawa's life you'll compare all other island and beaches to this beautiful place. It'll set a benchmark!

Recommended to visit this place. The national park include sea turtle conservation, and you can release baby sea turtle. The forest combined with the blue calm sea making it one of the best photo spot in Karimunjawa. Try visiting at sunset time or sunrise

A beautiful place to spend your holiday. You can visit many place and many good scenery there, especially the beach. A solid 5/7 for everyone who wants to feel a beachy life.

Strongly recommended. In this place the main attractions is water recreation. You can snorkling, feeding shark, boating and many more. There are already some hotels here but I recommend you to stay in local homestay since it has significant fee difference. Though this is one of the best place in Indonesia to visit. You won't regret it.

Spectacularly beautiful islands. Spent here almost a week, did some island searching, food market feeding, island hopping, diving, shark pool swimming... Fell in love <3 Friendly people without many tourists (like in Bali). Check pictures and see for yourself :)

Great place to an escape holiday, near from my hometown so the cost I spend is not too much. The beach is still beautiful and magnificent. Never wrong to come back and enjoy the ambience. Main tourism in here is the underwater, a crystal clear water so you never say no to this one. There so much thing to do, diving, snorkeling, sailing, island hopping, or just doing nothing at the beach just enjoy the atmosphere. You still want more and more here, just come and prove what I said!

Loooove this place very much! It's a beautiful and pretty island. The sea is clean and full of fish. Even I enjoyed snorkling and gave food to the fish.
We did the snorkling for 3 times in different small islands in Karimun Java. Each island has different coral and fish.
It also has different beaches which is very nice. If you go there, you need to explore on every beach to see that its beauty.

You need to see it with your own eyes.. Karimunjawa is the best place to enjoy diving for beginners, snorkeling, enjoy the sunset, beautiful beaches, white sand, blue and clear water sea, enjoy the fulfillment without much money.. i'm sure you'll be surprised.

Best place to escape! The first time I went there was on March 2003. I fell in love right away. The beach was beautiful, the forest walk was amazing, the local people was so friendly and the food, especially seafood, just excellent! After that, almost once a year, I will always managed to come back. I brought my friends with me as well. What you can do, snorkling of course, dive in, forest walk, run around the island, sun bathing on the beach, barbecue, watching sunrise and sunset, go to the lapangan and order some fresh seafood and talk to strangers. There are some conservation activities that you can also participate. The forest police officer are very friendly.

As an Indonesian, I recommend this place as one of the must visited place in Indonesia. I spent 4 days and 3 nights on Sep 2016, and I would love to come back anytime. The white sand beaches, the amazing under water (you can see nemo, dory, star fish, colorful coral, and etc), the beautiful hills (you can see the sea from above), and visit the baby sharks! That's all you can get at Taman Nasional Karimunjawa. Not mention about the good hospitality from the local people, they are really kind and humble when it comes to serve the tourists.

Karimunjawa, also known as Karimun Java, a hidden paradise of Java, is an archipelago of 27 islands north of Semarang and off the coast of Central Java. The main island is Karimun and the second island is Kemujan. The two islands are like twins, just side by side and often mistaken one of another. Karimunjawa name literally means a stone’s throw from Java in Javanese.

Karimunjawa is a perfect destination for a short getaway.

Best place to chilling and enjoying the sunset on seaside. Love to be here and love the way of local people being so friendly and kind. Blue ocean, blue sky, clear water, white sand. Perfect place to stay for couple of days here.
