L'isola che... Hostel - rooms & dormitory

I could not be more grateful to have chosen to stay at “L’isola che..”. I felt just like home 🥰 The staff is the most hospitable that I have ever experienced and I will miss them lots. I had the most delicious breakfast and the brightest smiles everyday ! I ended up extending a couple of time. It was really hard to leave 💖 Thank you Silvia and John for creating something so beautiful. Wish you all the best for your next project 🎉 super recommended!

John and Silvia really made me feel like home. Very nice breakfast and a very cozy place. I highly reccomend the snorkeling tour they provide, or just discover the island by bike. John and Silvia will make sure you know where to go. I definitely recommend this place :)

This place is right in front of the port so it is easy to find. They have a very friendly and cozy atmosphere with cute dogs. The room was neat and our favorite was THE breakfast. Kid friendly and the owner was kind, definitely a place to revisit. 🤩

Such a fantastic homestay the 6 bed dormitory is comfortable especially with courtains. 2 bathrooms for 6 people is brilliant. The only thing missing is a personal light for each bed. The decor is lovely you can tell a lot of effort has been put into it! Easily the best breakfast around with a choice of porridge, waffles, crepes and eggs w/bruschetta. Thank you Silvia!

Would highly recommend. As a solo traveller I focus often on conquering my fears, self discovery and checking things of my bucketlist and thanks to Silvia and John, I definitely got to do that! The guesthouse is close to the harbor, all beds have curtains and a socket, you can rent scooters and book tours and the breakfast is to die for. They also have boardgames and it is a good place to meet people. Anned is also a delight ❤ If you're thinking, the only thing that could make this place better is to be able to see a bunch of puppies, then it's your lucky day! Hahah. Amazing 😁

Jon is the best host you can wish for! During our trip, Jon felt like a good friend instead of our host. He brought is to the most beautiful places. Eating at the fishmarket, but also the snorkel trip to an island where we were completly alone! It was so beautiful! Jon and his staff (Ekka, Anned) Made our trip super special with their kind and mellow vibe! Breakfast is also SO good. Thanks you guys for some days we will never forget.

Nice and clean place. Tasty breakfast and drinks. The personnel full of positive energy and helpful mindset. It's close to the harbour 3min walk. To the Alun-Alun - nigh market - city centre it's only 10min walk. Thank you.

The best place to stay in Karimun ! John is welcoming you in his house and making all your wishes become true ! Taking you to sunset, to fish market, organizing boat trip to surrounding islands. The isola che guest house serves very good breakfast (pancakes, eggs, fruits, coffee and juices). Great place to meet people and discover Karimun !

Lovely place. We stayed in the dorm which was clean, comfy and cool (aircon). The staff are friendly and helped us out with suggestions, scooters and snorkeling.The free breakfast was beautiful. Really close to the ferry and main town and beach within walking distance.

I had great holiday here, the place that we stayed in is very comfy, strategies, and surrounded by friendly and good people. It was such a beautiful places.

Wonderful cosy place with very friendly host! Highly recommend for staying in Karimun island. You will be gladly surprised with tasty european breakfast! This is a small village so you will find near all the facilities as food, boat ticket office, store, bank, food market and port with a wonderful sunset.
Our host helped us to plan our vacations here and arrenged one of the most amazing days for me and my wife!

We had a great stay here. Rooms are clean, breakfast is so delicious (this coffee 😍) and the hosts are the best. They helped us whenever they can. We checked out earlier and they helped us days after that with all the Problems we had!

My boyfriend and I decided to spend some days in this new BnB in karimunjawa and we really loved it. Nice and tidy place runs by a couple able to speak in English, Italian and Indonesian. International breakfast; water, coffee and tea always available. I'll come back and I suggest it to everyone who comes in this beautiful island.

We met the host at his bar on Sunset beach during our first evening on the island- he was so friendly and kind that we decided to book the remainder of our stay at his hostel. John and Anned made this stay extraordinary. The breakfasts were amazing and with their suggestions and organising they made sure we saw the best of karimunjawa. There was also plenty of opportunity to get to know the locals as well as other tourists, as this hostel is super social. Don't worry, be happy :)

Very cosy and tidy place! Love it! The owners are super friendly and helpful with everything. The breakfast is Supergood! But most of all, BEST italian coffee in all Indonesia ;) Highly recommended!
