We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Kuda Laut. The rooms were beautifully designed and the beach was wonderfully pristine. The cuisine served was simply delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

Although we did experience some noise from the generator, the staff promptly resolved the issue by relocating us to a quieter room. Their quick response and dedication to ensuring our comfort were truly appreciated.

My stay at Kuda Laut Resort was simply enchanting! The resort exudes a captivating charm, and the beautiful room I stayed in added to the overall experience. I felt like I was in a cozy oasis, surrounded by all the comforts of home.

The beach right outside of my room has beautiful coral, perfect spot for snorkelling. I visited other resort on the island and I don't think their beach is as nice as this in term of snorkelling.

Also, they have room cleaning twice a day, which makes my room very clean all the time.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional level of hospitality from the staff. They treated me like family, and their warm and friendly demeanor made me feel so welcomed throughout my visit. Their genuine care and attention to detail truly made my stay special.

In conclusion, my stay at Kuda Laut Resort was a delightful experience, and I truly felt at home during my time there. The warmth and care of the staff made a lasting impression on me, and I left with cherished memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. I highly recommend Kuda Laut for anyone looking for a serene and charming getaway!

We had 43 person company group booking for 2 days. At first i thought that it would be very difficult to arrange this because it is very rare for this kind of resort to have 40+ pax group booking, but we were supported by the resorts's management & employees who were able to give us recommendations, feedbacks, and very nice service, so that all of the people in our group enjoyed staying here!
We had A LOT of activities here, such as dolphin watching, 3 sites snorkeling, sunset hunting, BBQ dinner, etc. 2 things that i noticed:
1) The resort's team were highly experienced & focused on how to satisfy the customers, especially for snorkeling. This is the best snorkeling experience that our team have. There were good snorkeling guides that really lead us & make sure everyone is safe. This is the most important thing in handling group activity, and i highly appreciate their work!
2. The food was fantastic! All foods were fresh and delicious!

Overall, Celebes Divers Resort is 9/10 (especially for group booking)

Feedbacks:
1. Please do some equipment renewal on the bathrooms, some things had broken (ex: bidet stand, etc).
2. Consider to check energy management. There were some air conditioners that are working at full capacity (16 degree setting, max fan speed) but still cannot make the room cooler. It means a lot of energy is wasted. Please consider how to make more efficient energy usage for the sake of our earth :)

Great reef, just in front of the resort. Rooms are spacious. Top food, Indonesian and western combined.

Just - WOW - what a fantastic get-away-to-paradise! Quiet little island with awesome snorkeling and diving! The house reef is straight out from the beach. Pristine and untouched Island-feel but still with high western standard. Beautiful beach cottages. Excellent kitchen. Liked the fact that they changed the menu every day for lunch and dinner, since it was full-board. Fair prices on beer, cocktails and wine. Excellent service! We wanted some young coconuts, then the manager ordered in especially for us. Extremely well managed boutique resort with the sweetest staff! One of the best holidays we had. Would recommend it to anyone!

The cottages with outdoor shower are spacious and the hammock in front is great for relaxing.
At the second day I had a problem with my key and the crew fixed it straight away👍

The breakfast buffet was outstanding with both European and Indonesian options. The menu for lunch- and dinner was very variating as well, I never ate the same dish twice in the 8 days I was there. Overall the quality of the food (which is made from local products) is really good!

I did several trips including diving, snorkeling and dolphine watching. The tours are well organized and the dive guides are experienced.
Also snorkeling at the housereef of the resort was good, the corals are still intact.

Kuda Laut Boutique Dive Resort is a fantastic place for a family vacation. We had one of the most relaxing vacations we've had since having kids during our stay there. The beach is fantastic, much better than any I've seen on neighboring Bunaken and perfect for relaxing on or playing in the water with your kids. The house reef offers fantastic snorkeling including nice coral, a variety of fish and a nice drop off to the right hand side of the resort. The best snorkeling is actually over to the right, not directly in front of the resort, but the whole thing is great and it's best to just head whatever direction the current is going when you jump in the water. But what set Kuda Laut apart was really the quality of the resort itself and it's staff. Oli, the manager will go out of his way to make sure you have a fantastic stay. No request we made was too much for him, he arranged babysitting for us so that we could go off on a snorkeling daytrip and called ahead to check with the airport on the most up to date COVID requirements to make sure that our departure would be smooth. He runs a fantastic place and had everything running fantastically even though the resort had only been reopened for about a week when we visited. The rooms are fantastic with comfortable beds, cold A/C, hot showers and plenty of space. They offer a wide variety of well run tours for reasonable prices if you want to leave the resort but really you don't have too. They have everything you could need for a great vacation right there: crystal clear water, soft sand, a fantastic pool and great food! The bar is well equipped as well with a wide variety of beverages. We loved spending our days staring at the beautiful blue ocean from the pool, snorkeling and playing on the beach with our kids. I highly recommend Kuda Laut because it offers a much more complete experience than the resorts on Bunaken which are pretty much exclusively focused on diving and rarely have any real beach. Siladen is gorgeous, the reefs are grand and the beach is stunning. The exquisite service provided by Oli and his staff at Kuda Laut is the "cherry on top" to make a perfect vacation. If North Sulawesi isn't on your list it should be and you should stay at Kuda Laut while you explore it.

Wow what a wonderful place. 😍 All the staff working here are very caring, they are just lovely and very very helpful.
We came to spend 3 nights in this place for our honeymoon and we were very spoiled. They organized us a wonderful and Romaric surprise dinner by the sea with a menu specially designed for us. Everything was tasty and above all very beautiful. Their intention touches us since we do not stay several nights and therefore they were really not obliged. It was a wonderful moment!
I have nothing negative to say about this place just wow. The food is varied, the bangalow very beautiful and the beds hyper comfortable. Guaranteed change of scenery and breathtaking landscapes. The snorkeling is just wonderful as the dive center changes the spot every session and every day, beautiful species to discover. I can always continue to quote the wonderful advantages of this place but I think I said the essential. Go with your eyes closed.❤

Wir kommen gerade von einem 2-wöchigen Tauchurlaub zurück und sind immer noch geflasht! Nachdem wir schon vor Corona eine Reise nach Siladen gebucht hatten, hat es dann dreieinhalb Jahre später als Geburtstagsgeschenk zu meinem 60igsten endlich geklappt. Als kleines Dankeschön und für den Geburtstag gab es noch ein Upgrad! Das zeigt u.a. wie ungeheuer aufmerksam und nett man dort behandelt wird. daneben gab es noch ein Ständchen der Belegschaft und einen Kuchen! Danke !
Das Tauchen am Hausriff, rund um Bunaken oder um Bangka ist einfach traumhaft. Von Großfisch bis zur kleinsten Krabbe ist alles da - und die Guides finden und zeigen es auch. Die Krönung ist allerdings die Masse an Schildkröten, die an einzelnen Tauchspots in Bunaken zu finden sind. Ich habe bei 30 Schildkröten aufgehört zu zählen. Ein klitzekleines Tröpfchen im See der Zufriedenheit ist die starke Strömung, die oftmals gezeitenabhängig vorhanden ist und auch plötzlich auftaucht. Meistens wählen die Guides die Tauchspots so aus, dass man wenig bis keine Strömung hat - aber immer klappt das halt nicht und dann wird es mit dem fotographieren schwierig. Aber das ist Jammern auf Topniveau. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Tauchausflüge zu weiter entfernten Inseln. Dann kommt ein Koch mit und bereitet zum Mittagessen an einem Sandstrand ein tolles Barbecue. Neben 2 Taucgängen am Morgen kann man weitere Tauchgänge am Nachmittag bzw. Nachttauchgänge machen. Einfach dem Leiter des tauchteams Bescheid geben oder Abends beim Abendessen angeben (Dann gehen Guides rum und fragen, ob und wann man am nächsten Tag tauchen möchte. Kuda Laut Resort bzw. das dazugehörende Onong Resort haben ca. 6 große Tauchboote, von denen mindestens 2 (Je nach Anzahl der Gäste) immer in Betrieb sind. Wir sind mit maximal 8 Tauchern plus Guides (meist ein Guide pro Buddy-Team) getaucht - also kein Massenauftrieb. Die Guides richten sich sehr nach den Vorlieben der Gäste. Man kann jederzeit sagen, was man möchte oder nicht.
Die Cabins sind zweckmäßig und landesüblich eingerichtet und haben AC (was ich persönlich nicht brauche) und Ventilatoren. Alles ist sauber und es wird zweimal am Tag gereinigt! Unsere Cabin mit seaview lag einfach großartig. Es gibt eine Veranda mit Hängematte und am Strand unter schattenspendenden Bäumen stehen ausreichend Holzliegen zur Auswahl.
Im Preis inbegriffen ist Frühstück, ein dreigängiges Menu am Mittag, Teatime und ein dreigängiges Menu am Abend. Die Portionen sind fürs tauchen genau richtig und es hat einfach super geschmeckt. Man konnte zwischen verschiedenen Gerichten auswählen und vegetarische Gerichte waren immer mit dabei. Mir persönlich hat die indonesische Küche (auch wenn sie ordentlich scharf ist) am besten geschmeckt.
Neben dem Tauchen oder Schnorcheln kann man in einem Spa sich massieren lassen (unterschiedliche Massagen), sich im Fitnessraum aufhalten, im schönen Pool abhängen oder eine Ausflug auf die Insel Sulawesi/Celebes machen. Die Minhasa Tour u.a. auf einen Vulkan und zu einem lokalen Markt war sehr schön. Alternativ steht die Bar mit vielen leckeren Cocktails als Sundowner zur Verfügung. Mein Favorit : Pina Colada!!
Wenn die ewig lange Flugstrecke nicht wäre, würde ich dort viel öfter hinfliegen.
