St. Chavara Kuriakose Elias Museum

St Chavara Kuriakose Achan was the first canonized Catholic male Saint of Indian origin. Chavara Achan spend his last days of mission in this place and his body was originally buried in this Church. There is museum showing the items & history of the Saint. Everybody have a special feel and blessings when they visit the place. The Church is arranged good atmosphere to pray and meditation. An perpetual adoration chapel also arranged here. His prayer room and many things he was used his last days are being visited by many people every day. people receives blessings of Chavara Achan while praying in the room where he died. His blessed soul is always there. If you come you can feel yourself.

The museum is under renovation but you can visit it.

It is a small church of st chavara kuriyakose achen. At chavara kuriyakose is lived here long .so that his belongs are kept in church .it is one of the major churches in kerala.surrounding of church his different type of statue's are placed.and there a there is a place like museum.all are very good

Museum for chavara kuriakose achan. Its actually an asramam before. Chavara kuriakose achan stayed here on his last days. All the things achan used is keeping here. And showing to public. Now there is some work in progress so its not completely open for public. There is also a small Chappell behind this museum. And a small park near by this place. An old well also there from where Chavara achan used for water
