Best time to visit : During Weekdays (less people more birds) avoid holidays
You have to pay extra charges for camera : 200 INR for one camera (Indian Resident).
40 INR for Entry during weekdays (50 INR for weekends)
Private Boating price : 1500 INR

How to enter?
You first have to buy tickets from ticket window. Than you can enter using your own vehicle (charges applied) after reaching main garden you will have to collect tickets for boating and you can enjoy beautiful residential and migratory birds.

Vast place to see migratory birds all round the year. Shallow lake with reeds so safe. The boat rates are steep but if you go in a group of 6-8 pax, then it is worth . Best time is said to be Jan or end of May to June
No shops or others facilities nearby so carry water and snacks

The boating experience and watching birds is a feast for eyes and for birds and nature lovers..
Best time to visit is in winters...
The lake gets about 250 migratory birds spieces every year...
The nature is at its best here.. So fresh and natural air.. No pollution...
The roads are good..the people are cooperative...
The boatman are so kind and hospitable...
Don't forget to have special gujarati - saurashtra food at the island inside... Just ask the boatman to take you there.
