Every Hindu must visit this temple. The architecture is excellent. we spent almost 2 hours at the temple, not enough. Need at least 6 hours.

Every hindu should visit this temple atleast once. The the statues architecture are extremely good south facing temple with no Nandi, Pali beedam and kodimaram. Famous for the stone Roof called Kodungai. You can see life like statues of horse with riders from different parts of the world. Painting here are herbal paintings, Stonelamps, kurntha maram, A must visit place.

The temple is full of sculptures with much more beauties and wow really a good experience and a famous one is there is a chain which is made up of stone....And there is even a musical pillars,and also roof made up of stone ...a delight to eyes

Because Aathmanatha Swamy represent our soul. Once leave the earth our soul completely leave the earth we are not come back again. That's y they use pulugal arusi Pongal. This temple built by Manikkavasagar. Excellent vibrations and divine bliss. Lot of unknown secrets and wonders are here. In this temple you can see only Aavudai, lingam is not there on top of Aavudai.

This is Ramanathaswamy Temple in Kumbakonam, a must visit place, for all tourists arriving in Kumbakonam. The stone carvings are beautiful and beyond description. The idol is the best, I have ever seen.

This temple is one of the marvelous and great wonder for stone art's which is built by Sri.Manikkavasagar swamigal to Sri.Athmanathar and Sri.Yogambal thayar. Here everywhere you can see the accuracy in sculptures and perfection in work done by the devotees even no modern tools and equipment which is not at all available. All the sculptures were hand made and each one will make us to think how they beautifully created this like. Definitely we should visit this temple and we atleast spend minimum 3 to 4 hours to see those all. This temple is completely different from other shivan temples. Which is here no Nandhi bagavan, No Flag post, Swami and ambal were in "Aroobam" and lot of mysterious meaning we can understand. Also one of the best thing is here they're maintaining the palm leave which is written by Lord shivan. If we have luck means we can see that. Om Namasivaya 🕉

Full of sculptures. Very divine. Neatly maintained. Guide explains everything from sculpture to God. The Boiled rice is mixed with bitter guard is offered as neivedhyam. The Horse God (kuthirai samy) statue and kodungai are marvellous.

One of the famous temple here they pray for a man named manikkavasagar but it's a sivan temple ..there is no koti maram there is no nandhi though it's a sivan temple there is really more intresting history behind this come and visit at once.

Shiva lingam without bhanam, can't see Shakthi Devi directly, thiruvasagam eadu sthalam, Vast temple, great architecture, miraculous sculpture, representing painting alot in there. Evening visit 5 to 6pm special in this place. Can reach through walk,2 or 3 or 4 wheeler, near bus stop, 20kms in aaranthangi nearby railway station. 🙏
