Sri Karaneswar Nataraja Temple - Pyramid Temple

Very well maintained temple providing peaceful atmosphere. Excellent place for meditation. Located right next to the ocean. However, there is no direct access to the beach from the temple. Very well maintained flower bearing plants and trees.

No tickets needed to visit this temple. However, I recommend contributing very little amount either as cash or through UPI as they need funds to maintain this temple.

Looking very well and temple still neet and clean atmosphere and near to beach so very very relaxing natural music are leafs clapping and beach waves sound and lord Shiva 😇

Good serene place. Natarajar statue has its own beauty. Nearby beach makes the place much more calm and well maintained.

It is a private owned temple. Main deity is Natarajar doing cosmic dance. Purposefully build for meditation centre. Temple opens morning 7.30 to 12 Noon. Then evening 6 to 7.30 pm. Garden around the temple are mesmerizing. Near to beach walkable from ECR road.

Very quiet and peaceful place located outside of Pondicherry.. this place has the best spiritual vibes to any person visiting . The mere silence you experience in here is so refreshing

It's near auroville, the nataraja swamy temple pyramid and has a beach near the temple

The temple is beautiful and peceful,can hear the waves from the beach nearby from the temple which gives a calm feel.
Do not forget to meditate while visiting the temple. The place is very clean.
Its hard to miss the sign boards in the main road as well as in the street too.

16 Kms from Pondicherry on ECR road is Keelputhupet village.
U can see sign boards of the temple, locals are friendly and will guide u.
Or see for Dune Beach and will take u the temple first.

Lord Natarajar statue housed in a pyramid gives u a lot of good vibrational u entered or just stand on the entrance of the pyramid.
A stone lingam and Nandhi where abishegam and puja are conducted where locals and traveller's throng.
Prasadam will be given by lot of people so u will not leave the place hungry on special days.
U can meditate.

A private temple in Pyramid style dedicated to lord Shiva or Nataraja - the dancing Siva. Approx. 2 KM from ECR. Nice ambience and out of crowd. Great place to spend some peaceful moments.

The priest is a friendly person, who will talk to about the temple. He speaks both Tamil and English. Located on the ECR, about 5 kms from Pondy University, towards Chennai.
Behind this temple is a pretty nice beach - Villupuram beach (as per Google maps).

This place has some magic with it's divine atmosphere here. It's scientifically constructed temple is must see for and observe the silence just close to the beach.
Just try to avoid going on Sunday or public holidays as you will not get that feel of calmness and those vibes.

Peaceful quiet place to spend some time. Not large but good size to go around, sit down and realise the purpose of life.

nice place to start a day with. it is situated near the beach. you can hear the waves sound. the place contains a beautiful pyramid temple with an idol of "Nataraj" the dancing Shiva. a must visit to get some peace and view. opening time- 6am to 12pm and 4pm to 6pm.

A very less explored temple near puducherry thus the crowd count is low compared to other places and it's also close to the beach.

Street parking ( not much traffic in that area ) so its not a problem.
The road to the temple is okayish , next to beach , dont forget the beach if u visit temple.
Pyramid shaped only one lord inside, best for casual visit, the inside of pyramid, u can feel the peace.

Nice place away from pondy city . Closer to this location is where beach is located tides are quite high be careful. Less of people here so you can enjoy
