Bharath Cafe, Karunagappally

We recently dropped in to Bharat Cafe , Karunagapally . The property looks the same Since my last visit a decade back- the decor hasn’t changed at all

The food - mutton chops was amazing good . We ordered mutton roast too - but the chops was anyway better - the gravy is with garlic and has more pepper and spices whereas the roast was red chilies and red onion .

The service was good - we were served by a staff ( majid ) who is there for 25 years .

Bharat cafe still makes food in bronze vessels and slowly cooks it in wood fire

The mutton biriyani is quite amazing though we dint try it . A great place for good mutton.

Bharath cafe is one of the oldest hotels and a good one in the city of Karunagapally. It is located in Puthiyakavu Junction beside the traffic signal. You can take the service road and approach the hotel. Went there yesterday and had Aripathiri, Appam, Chicken Fry , Mutton Chaps and Lime. It was all good and delicious. Probably the best and only place with so much of Mutton dishes. If you want to have Mutton, this is the best place.

Chicken Fry was also very delicious. Enjoyed it.

We had a short vist to Bharath cafe. We have just ordered chicken Biryani. Food was awesome. They are using good quality rice and chicken. Service was good. It's was a normal atmosphere. Anyway a good lunch

The Mutton roast was absolutely perfect and we were fortunate to get hot and crispy porotta which was a great combination. This shop has heritage in pure delicious mutton since it started and is quite famous and people trust that.

Had a really good experience. The food was really good. Had mutton biriyani it was damn tasty. And also tried the mutton liver and chicken roast which were equally good. Had pathiri along with these side dishes. Food is tasty waiting time is not much and staffs were also friendly.
If you are going for mutton biriyani please reach the restaurant before 12.45 or 1 at Max as mutton biriyani is really fast moving food here.

The food taste is excellent, the service is fast, price is very reasonable, clean, may not be posh place, it has on the upstairs closed Environment. Has a good restroom for ladies. Motton dishes are the best. First look may feel a small restaurant but food taste will change this impression fast.

No other place you can find to can eat Mutton of this quality. Since my grandfather's time, Bharath Cafe is known for its mutton, and it has not changed. Another pride of Karunagapally.

Bharath cafe is established in 1965 at the bank of NH 47@Karunagappalli, Kollam district, Kerala. Well experienced hotel in town. Serving delicious and hygienic food. Customers are treated better than any other spaces. Really had a nice experience.
