Shlmash Waterfall

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious wow you will never regret it but please be careful with going down to the waterfall when you are driving and no swim at all just enjoy the nature

It is a beautiful place to visit specially if you go in the right season which is mid spring or early summer. Towards the end of summer the water level drops and it is not as nice but overall it is definitely worth visiting.

If you go with family make sure to go early during the holiday times, as it can get very busy with tourists, to find a place otherwise you would end up sitting close to the road and cars which can be very dusty.

There are no facilities or paths for wheelchairs so I'm afraid if you go with someone elderly or on wheelchair you could only go up to the first waterfall.

Definitely a must visit, in fact it should be on the list of places to visit before you die! It is about half an hour drive from Sardasht...not too far

The view along the way to the waterfall is fantastic and there is nowhere in the world that looks like Sardasht. You got to see it to believe it. So make sure you load up your camera with full charge battery.

You must driving 30-45 min from Sardasht to this beautiful waterfall. For visiting Shalmash waterfall the parking charge you 3000 rials for each car. if you go there don't miss the second waterfall.

Shalmash Waterfalls counted as one of the branches of Zaab River (Little Zaab - Zaab-e Koochak), located near the city of Sardasht (West Azarbaijan). This waterfall is about 10 m. high with a good outflow of water. The beauty of this waterfall is further enhanced by the green beautiful valley and scattered forests in surrounding area which is being utilized as a recreational site by people. undefined Shalmash Falls is a cluster of three waterfalls situated on the outskirts of the village of Sardasht in the West Azerbaijan province of Iran.
Near the border with Iraq, they can be easily viewed from stairs built for visitors to these waterfalls. The falls are each about 10 metres (33 ft) high.

One of the best places to visit during spring, very beautiful.
