Ahid Traditional House

This is a place you can enjoy the calmness, friendship and warm hospitality as are the characteristics for this region. I loved the way it’s decorated using old and antique items while having both old-days and modern rooms to choose. For sure one concept is socializing here in public spaces but for me having enough time to be with myself was a need so I chose August for my travel and I could enjoy my stay as I wished.

It was my favourite accommodation here in Iran, and we spent already 1,5 half months in the country. It’s super cozy, clean and well equipped- but why is my favourite: the positiv friendly welcoming atmosphere.
You walk into the house and feels the good vibes immediately.

You should try the breakfast- it’s really tasty and the serve several dishes.

In the evening we had some local music ,henna and nice conversations .

Nice place, friendly staff and good atmosphere.
We stayed 3 nights there. They try make you feel like home. There is a cozy yard where you can enjoy chatting with other guests while drinking tea.
Don't forget home made food but you have to order a day before.
Also try daily tours around Kangan with their professional staff.
One thing more: when we were there, I found out some people come and knock the door for just curiosity. The staff don't allow them to enter cuz this is a small and calm traditional house where they care about their guests' privacy. This is not a public place like museum or hotel's lobby. Don't go there unless you booked a room in advance.

The most enjoyable part of my trips all around Iran was staying at Ahid traditional house. Positive atmosphere, beautiful location and great hospitality engaged with rich culture of south.

You are guaranteed to experience top-notch Iranian hospitality here. The architecture, the food, and the location of this accommodation makes it unique and superior to all its counterparts. Couple that with its welcoming host Meead, a female traveler herself, and you're in to make great memories here. I recommend that you stay here for at least 4 to 5 days if you really want to experience southern Iran's vibes. Do so in the cooler months of December to March if you're not a big fan of heat and humidity. This place is close to the Salt dome and Bonoud beach which are two must-sees, so be sure to make room for them in your itinerary.

Really nice local hostel. Everything is new and super clean. We really enjoyed our stay at this place.
The only thing is that we chose this local hostel over a modern hotel, only because we thought we could have some chat with the local people/owners.
Seemed during that time, the owner were not in the mood to spend some time with the guests.
I definitely recommend this place, though.

Though Kangan town is not a popular destination for travellers visiting south of Iran but Ahid traditional House attracts hundreds of people every year with its wonderful atmosphere, great service and superb design.

it was our best trip. picturesque, beutifull and eceedingly clean place. staff members were so friendly and helpful. city was also great with all the necessary fasilities. and good apportunity to socialize with other guests.

It’s one of the best guest house that i ever been. Beautiful decorations, tasty food, very clean.
