We stopped here for lunch after a hike and the food was amazing. The fish and chips were some of the best I’ve had - they use a Cajun type spice instead of just breading. My Dad ordered the pizza and also had no complaints! Cute interior and fast service.

During our 8 day stay we came to Arnabær 4 times! According to my kids "Arnarbær in Arnarstapi has the best cheesy bread (cheese pizza) in the world", and coming from such picky eaters is better than a Michelin star. The fish & chips were the best we've had on our trip too! Cool atmosphere, low key, and delicious food. Highly recommend 👌

We had 5 pizzas and two fish and chips. We all loved it. It was a very crunchy fish and chips and the French fries. The seafood pizza was nice and spicy.

Ingólfr Arnarson himself and the artic breeze only cold beer can bring! This. is. Amazing!

We didn't eat here since it was closed (Was 10PM) but the small buildings are beautiful

Pizza at Arnarbear was really really good and the fries were excellent too. It's a few minutes from an excellent vantage point, so definitely worth a visit.

Tasty pizza, cozy and beautiful place, wonderful view. Nothing more to add.

Good food, kind of expensive, staff could use some training in customer service. But luckily for them, there aren’t many options to choose from when your hungry.

Service was quick and food was great! I had the lobster pizza and a large draft beer.

I had their fish and chips and their chocolate cake. The fish and chips: hands down the best I've had! I really liked how they made their fish, not a lot of breading used so you can taste the freshness of the fish still...
The cake! Oh, the cake... not too sweet, so you don't have to feel too bad about yourself. It is a pretty generous slice though, and it comes with whip cream which suprisingly has a light flavour.
My wife had the lobster soup with cream. Had a bit of it and it had a really rich, hearty flavour. She said she loved it!
As far as the ambience goes, it has that nice family-owned feel to it. The roof is just begging to have its photo taken, really.

Great food, large portions. My wife and I shared the fish and chips and really enjoyed it and left full. Service was quick and restaurant looked very clean. The outside has a old world charm design with its turf roof, but the inside is completely modern. Would recommend for a nice hot meal. Pricing is pretty reasonable for Iceland.

We had a great time in this charming adobe. The food was excellent. We ordered fish and chips, lobster soup and a pizza. The fish and chips was the best we ever had. Absolutely fantastic with a very crispy batter (seemed made of corn or something similar) of dark brown color and a super fresh and juicy local cod inside that melted in the mouth.
Absolutely recommended for the ultimate fish and chips experience. Their draft beer was also super refreshing.
Finally, we topped that with their home-made carrot cake which was also delicious, not too sweet and perfectly balanced.
