Camping Civetta

The owners are very welcoming, and the campsite facilities/location are excellent. The toilets and showers are the best I've seen in a campsite. It feels a bit like a hotel!

It is a perfect base for hiking or biking, with the bike rental next door and owned by the same family.

I had a bit of a fall from my bike, and the owner spent around 20 minutes cleaning up my quite nasty cuts. She really went above and beyond. She is so nice!

There was a tiny bit of damage to the grip on the bike, and the owner of the shop was super relaxed, and didn't try to take advantage of the accident by charging more money. I know other rental shops that would not have been so nice.

I'll definitely be back perhaps in the winter!

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts? Family run campsite helmed by Marzia and her brother Andrea. I was a solo hiker travelling by public transport. Camped 6 nights and had a great time. They provided very good information for my hikes including climbing M Civetta. Marzia gave me rides to the Passo Falzarego trailheads several times. Very clean and modern facilities. There was even a nice large bbq room to eat in a warm place and another spacious lounge which was opened 24h. Felt very welcomed. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two days on this lovely campsite. The hosts were really kind and relaxed. Everything was clean and well organized. The host gave us many explanations about possibles hikes to do nearby. The hike we did took us 7 hours but was one of the best we ever did. Amazing views and spectacular route. They even have their own herbs and veggies that you can use. We would definitely recommend this campsite to other people who want to relax in the evening and make great hikes during the day.

Incredible location and impressive helpful staff. Marzia lent me a sleeping bag and helped us with every single information. We had to leave earlier than we scheduled because there were not enough buses running the weekend to get back tithe city. Marzia was very understanding and let us paying only 1 day. We incredibly appreciated her kindness. We can’t wait to go back to this little corner of paradise.

Amazing owners and staff. An amazing family business. Familia Balestra looks after their campsite and all visitors incredibly well. They care about what they do, add personal touches, give guidance and help for things to do. They're truly great people! Cannot wait to come again!

This campground is really wonderful, the best me and my boyfriend have stayed in on our trip to Italy. It's quiet and clean, with hot showers, a public room with a fireplace, and there was even a little herb garden you can use on the property. Cute restaurants and a grocery shop within walking distance, and beautiful mountains all around. But it's the owners who make this such a great stay. The owner was very enthusiastic and really went out of her way to answer our many questions, and she was very knowledgeable about the hiking in the area. She even stocked some fuel that we could buy for our portable stove which we couldn't find anywhere for several days! We will be back in the future for sure :).

We love the place! We came here to camp for 2 nights, clean facilities (toilets, washing area, laundry room, fire place, reading room) and Martzia the receptionist was super friendly! Would definitely come back again.

Whaooo super camping. People are so nice and friendly. The facilities are exceptional. Surrounding so impressive. You can swim in the river 10 mns walk. If I should go to paradis I hope it will look like that. Thanks to the family owners , I ll be back 💪👏

Best accommodations I’ve ever seen in Italy for a camping!

Great campsite, facilities are very good (beautiful new showers), fair price, and the owner was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

It was my first camping experience and it was absolutely incredible. The camping has manny common areas such as a dinning room ( where every night a barbacue is set and you can use to cook your own food). The host where really kind friendly, and they helped us with everything we needed. Also, they recommended us some routes and they even let us ferrata kits to do some climbing.
They also have a volleyball and tennis court whixh we didn't use but it looked really nice. There is also a bar where every night was a nice atmosphere and activities such as live music or karaoke.

To sum up, the web doesn't show how good the camping is and there were many facilities that we didn't expect that were very usefull.

We spent 2 nights here on a cycle trip around Europe. It rained a lot and the campsite had loads of facilities to keep us entertained. Very friendly staff. Close to bars and food. Highly recommend

The campsite is one of the 7 campsites from the Dolomiti Hike and Camp trail. A beautiful hiking trail. The owner is very kind. In the village there's a little supermarket. There's also a Conad thise supermarket was closed on Sunday.

Brand new facilities built to a very high standard. All round plesant and helpful staff. In off season, pricing is very fair.

Very small Camping site with basic structure, fantastic lanescapes and very well kept. The family owners are very friendly and helping. Great choice to experience Dolomites!
