With a nice view of the beach , and very close. Good food , clean and calm environment with security; is the top priority here. lovely place to be, with pride.

Inexpensive, but beautiful hotel right on the seafront. Artistically decorated and beautifully clean, large rooms, big comfortable beds and spectacular bathrooms - at least in our seafront room. Large bright breakfast room with a great breakfast buffet and a separate upmarket restaurant - we ate out of season and had a set menu so can't really comment on the food. Pool was too cold to swim in April, but it looked sparkling clean. A very comfortable hotel with very friendly staff.

It's great! Perfect cleanliness, huge balcony, modern bathroom and other facilities, welcoming staff, exceptionally interesting animation. You can feel the spirit of Italy in this hotel.
The main thing is the sea, shimmering with all shades of blue. The sea is deep, but warm and comfortable. Each guest has his own sunbed and sunshade free of charge for the whole period of stay.

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent amenities and services, upscale decorations and artwork throughout, a pool, and the beach area across the road. It is close to se ersl Medieval towns such as Amantea and Fiumefreddo which are worth a visit. A car is recommended for this location as walking distances are greater and local transportation, aside from the train station, aren't too accessible. Overall, we were ery impressed with Grand Hotel La Tonnara.

I have stayed in so many places all over Italy from the Venice through to Sicily but this is definitely my favourite place . My children fell in love with it to . The restaurant is amazing and the breakfast is truly delicious .
We will definitely book to stay again as soon as we are back in Italy .

Very friendly staff. So helpful and accommodating. Location is perfect with it's own beach just across the street. Bed was a little hard for our liking but overall, very good!

The staff were very friendly even when we arrived way off the normal check-in time.
The rooms were tidy and the beach is near and breathtaking.
However the best part was the breakfast as the friendliness was also apparent and from the fresh pressed juice down to the pasrty everything was delicious.

Great value for money. We were here in September, it was very quiet. Great service, room, pool, beach structure with bar, chairs, umbrellas. Breakfast buffet also good. Just in front of beach. Easy free parking.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and include many options. Directly on the beach with showers, chairs and beach beds and also a bar. Great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Just spent a week at the Grand Tonnara and were so sad to leave. The staff there is so accommodating and friendly. They treated us like family. Giovanni knows how to run a hotel and make all his guests feel welcomed. Going back again next year.

Abbiamo trascorsi dei bellissimi giorni ad Amantea. Camera molto ampia, bagno finestrato altrettanto ampio. Mare letteralmente a 2 passi, di fronte alla struttura raggiungibile tramite un sottopassaggio o attraversando la strada.
Mare stupendo ed acqua cristallina. Il lido è gestito benissimo, molto pulito e ben organizzato.
Abbiamo usufruito della modalità pensione completa quindi abbiamo assaggiato diverse pietanze nei vari pasti. Piatti molto abbondanti e saporiti, servizio dei camerieri attento. Sala del ristorante molto ampia e tavoli ben distanziati. Dal balcone della camera era possibile ammirare il tramonto sul mare. Nelle vicinanze non c'è praticamente nulla ma il centro di Amantea è raggiungibile in pochi minuti in auto. Per una vacanza di totale relax questo è il posto giusto.
