Hotel Villa San Michele

What a gem of a hotel! The food the staff the beautiful gardens the sunning deck by sea the total peace and above and beyond courteous helpful staff were amazing. The two meals daily were so delicious and lived up to the Michelin standards served by the most friendly courteous waiter Antonio who went out of his way to bring you whatever you needed. We had the best 5 days here and hope we can do this again. The rooms were comfortable with a balcony you could relax on for hours and the VIEW totally out of this world. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make us so very comfortable.

This was our favorite place we stayed on our honeymoon. It is a must stay place if you are going to the amalfi coast and looking for relaxation, great food, and great views. We had amazing views from our spacious balcony where we enjoyed spending our days. In addition there are other areas within the hotel that have great views, such as the garden and swimming area. The swimming area has access to the sea with a ladder as well as lounge chairs to soak up the sun. We appreciated the half board as we enjoyed the dinners there. The chef had amazing dishes and we enjoyed all three courses. In addition there was breakfast served which was a great way to start the day. The owners kindness topped off our stay and made us very comfortable throughout our short time there.

WOW!! We stayed at Villa San Michele in May based on a suggestion of a friend. We are so glad we did. The room and view was spectacular. We chose the half board option as we did not want to be searching for restaurants every day not knowing the area. Best decision of my life. Food was spectacular. Worthy of the Michelin decals displayed on the door. A family run hotel where every member is kind, friendly and out to please and make your stay everything you want it to be. We hope that our travels will bring us to Italy in the near future so we can enjoy this lovely hotel again.

Beautiful villa of a cliff with views of the ocean. The food was of a high-quality restaurant. We loved being able to walk down and jump in the ocean and sun bath on the deck. We cannot wait to come back and visit.

This was our first stay on the Amalfi coast, and it was incredible. The staff was so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The grounds and views are absolutely stunning. We used the little beach area every day, which was clean and comfortable. The other guests were so nice and we enjoyed talking with them.

The food, with a menu that changes daily, was unbeatable! Antonio served us every day at the restaurant, as well as some of the other members of the team. They provided the best service we have ever had. We loved the options and rotating menu items. They also have great limoncello there.

We were so impressed with the quality and service of everything at Villa San Michele, and will for sure be back!

Excellent place to stay. We have just stayed there and the entire property is amazing. This is a great place if you are looking for private access to the sea, a balcony with a view you could relax to for hours, a comfortable room, and the friendliest staff you can find.

The restaurant food was some of the best we have had and included in a very reasonable price for the hotel/board. We only at breakfast and dinner so I cannot speak to lunch but I'm sure it is also very good. Portions are also very large we were never able to finish our food you will not be leaving the restaurant hungry.

This may not be the place for you if you cannot do stairs as you will have to walk down many stairs through the wonderful gardens to get to the room. However they do have a luggage lift.

My one complaint is that the beds do slide apart much easier than other rooms I have stayed in.

Other than that I would suggest anybody stay here especially compared to some of the other hotels that charge much more in the area and do not offer anything better. If we ever return to the area we will be coming back.

WOW WOW WOW We loved this hotel for the five nights of our holiday- the best location (so quiet at night apart from the waves!), the most amazing and helpful staff, and family owned - what more could you want? The dinners were exceptionally good value and so much to eat- they even organised a salad for me every night because I was missing my greens! So delightful and nothing was too much trouble! There is a car park on site for small cars and they manoeuvre the cars around themselves so they can fit 4 cars in a (what we would call) a three car garage! Very informative staff and we loved them all - they felt like family when we left…thank you all for making us feel so welcome 🙏

We had such an incredible experience here during out 4-day stay in September. This is a homey, family-run hotel with the most beautiful views. The hotel is carved into a cliff and each room has its own private terrace with views of the sea that will take your breath away. There is also a private tanning deck at the water's edge and you have the chance to either swim in the sea or just sit in bliss and soak in the sun and hear the waves crashing against the rocks. This stay INCLUDES two meals per day, made by the incredible chef who crafts a different menu every day. I am not kidding when I say this was some of the best food we had in all of Italy. Each dinner is a three course meal, and the staff is so friendly and warm that you feel more as if you are family than a guest. Yes, if you are a billionaire and want glamour, perhaps stay at a Belmond hotel instead - this was a somewhat more homey experience with a modest room, small bathroom. However, the room was impeccably clean, with maids coming every day to empty the trash bins, make the bed, change the linens, and even mop the floor. I cannot recommend this lovely hotel enough. We would love to come stay here again.

A wonderful family owned and operated hotel in Revello. We stayed here for two nights and everything was fantastic.

The service here is amazing. They're a small family-run business and are very attentative. The walk from Amalfi is 20 min but totally worth the stay. It is a romantic place for couples. Call ahead of time to confirm your arrival and you'll have a great time. I would definitely come back here, it was my favorite stay in Italy.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, incredible views, beautiful flowers and plants everywhere, perfect access to the sea for daily swimming. Delicious home cooked food and lovely, welcoming staff. You don’t need to leave the hotel, it has everything you need for a totally relaxing holiday.

Spectacular views, staff, swimming, and food! After staying in hostels for a month, this hotel was exactly what we needed!! Everyone was so welcoming and kind for our entire stay, we really felt like a part of the family. The brothers even helped us navigate the bus/train system and get us to where we needed to be. The entire hotel is covered in flowers and greenery and the views from the restaurant are spectacular. The hotel itself was the most beautiful place we saw in all of the Amalfi coast. We never wanted to leave and can’t recommend it enough!!

We loved staying at Hotel Villa San Michele! The staff was so kind and accommodating. They truly care about their visitors! The hotel is a beautiful, well maintained, villa built into the cliff with a stunning view. The walk from the road down to the villa is steep and breathtaking (in both senses of the word). All the way down there is a lovely patio with beach chairs and umbrellas, where you can jump into the ocean.

We arrived by car and they took care of parking with no problems. The room was clean and the view is amazing. We had breakfast and dinner (half board). The dinner was fresh seafood, tasteful, large portions. Again, the view from the restaurant covered in flowers was stunning.

This is the most charming place and we recommend it to everyone. Thanks for the good memories!

This beautiful family run hotel has such lovely friendly staff who can’t do enough for you to make your stay enjoyable. The food is delicious and plentiful and Antonio in the restaurant is great fun. The whole family including the grandparents make this a 5* experience and the views are magnificent. The rooms are big and very clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. We hope to return one day, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else this is a real little gem of a hotel. Thank you everyone!

A slice of paradise in the Amalfi Coast! From the stunning views, best food, and beautiful waters for swimming - this place really has it all. But the most special part is the family and staff who run it and who are so attentive, friendly and charming!

This review is a long time coming - we stayed at Hotel Villa San Michele in Sept 2020 and it was absolutely spectacular. The owners and managers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made every meal a pleasure. Food was excellent. Perfect location if you like a quieter area to relax and plunge directly into the sea from your hotel room.

Amazing Villa / Boutique Hotel on the Amalfi coast.

The location is at the bottom of Ravello, just on the coast on the way to Amalfi. It's very close to a bus stop on the Amalfi bus network.

Very nice restaurant and amazing location for the hotel villa.

The family owning the hotel recommends that you call or email in good time before the season, as the hotel fills up quickly and few rooms are added to booking sites.

An incredible experience. It felt like something out of a Wes Anderson movie. The staff were so friendly. They even lent me a guitar so I could practice. The food was beautiful, delicate and very local. I'll be returning.

The perfect romantic destination. The property, hospitality and views are incredible. The meals are delicious. The location is ideally located between Amalfi and Ravello. The bus stop is directly outside the villa. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have a stunning view of the coast. I hope to visit again in the future.
