Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa Saas-Fee

Beautiful high quality hotel with equally high quality, attentive, friendly, professional, customer focused staff that genuinely add to the experience of staying here. It has a very relaxed vibe. The whole hotel is very modern and the rooms are very spaceous and very well equipped.
We are here with young children and have been made very welcome. The pool and spa facilities are also exceptional. The breakfast offers lots of choice and the afternoon cake buffet is very nice after a day on the slopes.

We had an absolutely fabulous staff half board. The room was amazing, glacial views that just had you stopping and looking frequently. The gourmet menu was delicious and really took into account food allergies, breakfast buffet was plentiful. Every member of staff we dealt with were really helpful - would love to stay again.

We spend a lot of time in Saas-Fee and have tried many of the bars for an evening drink. The bar here is fantastic. Ambience, comfort and style excellent. A great treat is the cocktails, above all made and served by Barbara. She makes any cocktail with such finesse and is always so friendly and professional. We pop in if we see she's working. Yes, the cocktails are rather costly, but worth every rappen. Thank you Barbara and the Walliserhof team. We'll be back again soon.

We had the chance to organise our wedding at and with Walliserhof. All was perfect, from the beginning of the end and from the big stuff to the smallest details. It's an incredible place with an incredible crew. They share there passion with you and that with a wonderful friendliness. Thank you so much and already excited to see you soon

One of the Best Hotels I had ever been! I will return! Wonderful! Excellent service, drinks, food, nice interior design. Not the best spa, poor massages.

We stayed in the hotel Walliserhof in Saas-Fee with family (2 adults and 2 kids). We booked a Suite composing of a bedroom and living room with sofa bed. Two balconies, very comfortable and well eqiupped bathroom (however, be careful, the bathroom has a glass door), so we had to ask other members of the family to stay in their rooms when one of us had shower. But the bathroom was perfectly equipped. Full size Molton Brown products, we loved them. Otherwise the room facilities are excellent. Very comfortable beds, soft blankets, choice of pillows. There were 2 balconies in our suite, each room had TV, dressing in bedroom. Enough place for all 4 of us. Very bright colors, modern style, great light system easily controlled. Fresh water every day, small "good night" chocolates, turn-down service was perfect.
The service is very attentive, we had absolutely no problems with communication, all was clear during reservation, upon arrival and during the stay. We received information about the region and QR codes were sent to us with possibility for many discounts in region (excursions, cable cars etc).
SPA is great. Kids under 10 are allowed from 9 to 11 in morning hours and from 14:00 to 17:00 afternoon. We easily adapted to those restrictions with our 5 years old kid. There are many saunas and different steam rooms inside "SAUNA area", big choice of herbal teas, fresh water, dry fruits at disposal. Towels are soft, big and of a good quality.
One of the evening we ate in Italian restaurant in the hotel - we recommend it. Atmosphere, food quality and service were at high level.
The hotel is a great option for family and couple stay. We will definitely come back. Thank you to the whole team.

Great hotel. Staff service is the top. We tried spa and massages and it was great. Room service is in all details. And with no ask, we got a cake for a birthday. That’s how they treat customers. Normally I am feel chilly in the hotels, but here was super warm. Cocktails at the bar were very decadent. Ski room has a lot of space and lockers. We used it to assemble snowboards as well.

Everything was perfect. Room very spacious, with a little garden/terrace that given it was in January we did not use.
The spa/swimming pool area is amazing !!!
The food was gorgeous, with different options in the carta to choose
And the service was very useful informing about the few activities in the area, because of COVID restrictions. Waiters in the dinner areas were also very nice and polite
We will come back for sure !

Great hotel with amazing service! Very modern, spacious and clean. The spa is large. Staff very friendly. The shuttle service that takes you to the parking is also very convenient. Great choice of restaurants in the hotel. 5 min walking distance for the cable car to go skiing. Would recommend for a couple, friends but also families!!

Just back from a super stay over a long weekend. We delayed our visit due to Covid 19 and the hotel managed this delay perfectly. As timing would have it, we combined our 6oth birthdays with the stay and the alpine Saas Fee setting made it more special. We arrived with mountain bikes and stuff which didn't faze anyone at all, everything just went smoothly, no stress.

Special mentions to Abilio Ribeiro for a warm welcome and help with our kit, Filipe Faria Rui and the team in the restaurant for adding some extra personal touches to our birthday dinner and the barman working Friday/Saturday, we didn't get your name but we appreciated your knowledge and attentiveness. Thank you!

Finally, after a hard days biking, the pool, sauna and wellness were great for relaxing and soothing away the bumps and bruises after riding down from Hohsaas and the beds were just epic, so comfy. oh, lets not forget the breakfast with good choices to help power you through a day of mountain activity.

Great experience. Saas-Fee is a magnificent resort in the Swiss Alps. Walliserhof Hotel deserves 5 stars. Even during covid, everything is fine, almost perfect. Quality service, 2 restaurants with different cuisines, a good breakfast buffet, an enjoyable spa, a gigantic fitness room with up-to-date apparels, a spacious and confortable room. If I had to find 2 (very) small details which could be ameliorate, it would be the cuisine (a little bit too much of swiss german influence) and how the room is electrically design (yes, try to find which switch lightens which lamp...). But as I wrote, these are details and I will certainly return to this resort, also according to the fact that the price is more than reasonable for all what you get. I warmly recommand.

Everything was amazing but:
In one restaurent you have to pay for tap water and surprisely in the other retaurant no need to pay for it! Anyway this is completly unacceptable to pay for tap water in Switzerland. It's just a way to charge more tourist that don t know Switzerland.

Great hotel to stay in but indoor pool is too fresh to enjoy it fully !

We stayed at Walliserhof Hotel in December 2023 and we enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is modern, with great facilities, including a very well equipped gym and a nice SPA. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated (we stayed in 2.501 suite with mountain view). The mattress was of top quality. There are three restaurants in the hotel, we went to two of them (the Caesar Ritz and Del Ponte) and always enjoyed the meals, which were both tasty and creative. Notwithstanding, what we enjoyed the most was the service throughout. It was just exceptional. Ladies at the reception, waiters in the restaurants, hotel car drivers and room cleaning ladies, all made our stay memorable, and we are immensely thankful to them for such a great job. It is not so common. We would full heartedly recommend this hotel and hope to visit it again soon.

This is just the perfect spot to stay. 5 star hotel with 5 star service. One of the nicest hotels that I know. Very friendly stuff, great food and a spa to stay for ever!

The place to be if you love the mountains and great service. You feel pampered when staying at this hotel. I really love it here.
