Cafe Positano

We had a lunch here on a beautiful sunny day with an amazing positano view. Staff was kind and helpful with the order. Pastas were delicious. Would definitely recommend for who is looking for delicious food with an amazing positano view

If you're looking for an authentic meal that feels like one of Nonna's dinner you must visit this place. The staff are friendly and make your experience memorable. Aside from this, you are seated over a breathtaking view of the Positano, the ocean and the surrounding cliffs. Huge shout out to Paolo and the rest of the crew for entertaining us while they fed us delicious food.

Great location, view. We had a delicious late breakfast overlooking the sea and beach below. Doesn’t get any better than that!

If you’re staying In Positano, you must try this place! The lasagna was to die for! They are also open late! The staff were very friendly and the views were amazing at night.

Of all the restaurants recommended in Positano, this was the best. An amazing view of the sea and incredible service. It's on the main road, so cars and motorcycles are driving by as you eat. Imagine bringing food and drinks across the road! We started with an amazing "Della casa appetizer," and it was outstanding. I ordered the beef filet (European style), and it was very good. All the food was exceptional. The service is amazing because they work as a team. You can ask any of them for an extra glass of wine, and it comes quickly. Definitely recommend!!

We had a really nice, early breakfast at Cafe Positano one morning before a boat tour. The menu has a lot of options (American style breakfast, French style breakfast, etc.) and service was fast. The cappuccino was larger than you traditionally find in Italy, more like a latte. Would go back and definitely recommend!

The food was great--I particularly recommend the stuffed zucchini flowers 💐, gnocchi 🍝, and the chocolate soufflé with ice cream 🍫🍰🍨.
The servers were so funny and friendly and they even helped us find a cab to get back to our hotel ☺
And, of course, the atmosphere deserves 10 stars because we were right on a cliff overlooking the beach 🏖. There are only so many tables right above the water though, so I'd suggest arriving early to get the best view.

P.S. I'm not kidding about the chocolate soufflé. There's this incredible gooey inside, and if you're a chocolate lover like me, the warm dark chocolate sauce with the fluffy cake and cold ice cream will melt your heart just as it melts in your mouth. Try it.

Prices are really good to be in Positano, and the food is top quality, you won't regret coming here.
It is a 15 minute walk from the beach through the driveway/street

We had the prawn risotto, amazing plate!! And the grilled octopus, was one of the best I have had in the Mediterranean.
You won't go wrong

Service could be better, but it is almost the same thing in Italy, sadly.

I cannot understand why this amazing place has a 3.4 rating. Both pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and the view is to die for.
We went against the small rating and we were so glad we did.

American style breakfast (bacon and pancakes) which was a nice thing for our kids on a long road trip of not getting full meals and just pastries. Fast service, unreal view. Prices are fair for the location ($$$) but nothing outrageous. Parking is insane of course, just figure it out and walk up...crazy Positano!! Lunch looked amazing, starts at noon.

We can't understand all the bad reviews. The four of us spontaneously got a table in the indoor area on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very attentive and professional and the food also surprised us positively, it was quite tasty...just like the bottles of white wine.

Good vibes with the water view. The service was great, the food as well. See videos for what my friends and I ordered. The food was good much better than the expensive restaurant we went before that.

We came without a reservation and it was completely amazing. The place serves more than 5 stars, it’s the epitome of a good dinner in Positano. Staff was amazing, food was delicious, and you pay not only for the food, but for the experience and view. A definite recommend!!

Hospitality was outstanding. Views of a full moon over looking the water were beautiful. The lobster so fresh and juicy with flavor. We shared our plates of fettuccine Alfredo, baked sea bass and linguine lobster. It was a delicious spread paired with a bottle of Montepucciano. To top it off the server provided complimentary limoncello shots! We will be back!!

Really beautiful restaurant with unbelievable views. The burrata was excellent, and we also liked the gnocchi and chicken main courses. Finished with a chocolate cake. Service was fine, a little slow at the end but nothing out of the ordinary. Definitely would recommend!

This restaurant is a MUST go to. We absolutely loved the fish of the day and they were very welcoming and provided AMAZING service. We highly recommend you to eat here and we will definitely be back!

To be honest, the best service we received in Positano. The food is really good, exceptional view and great staff! The meatballs spaghetti is just delicious!!! 😋

One of the absolute best views in Positano. It’s worth the wait for a table on the rail. Be confident and polite and tell the servers what you want or you will end up sitting on the sidewalk waiting all night for a table. Bonus is the food is good too!

Octopus and squid is good. Funny staffs.

My wife and I had a very good dinner here, and got to sit on the terrace to have a beautiful view of the city as the sun was setting. I would rate this a 4.5 if I could. My wife ordered Linguine with Mushrooms And I ordered the Linguine Bolognese. They were very yummy. We ordered a bottle of wine and just enjoyed the experience.

It is worth mentioning that it was incredible seeing the waiters walk across the street. Cars drive on this road and they come very close to the restaurant so watching the waiters nonchalantly walk in front of cars while holding plates is something in and of itself worth seeing. You'll understand this better once you just go here
