What a wonderful week! The 4 day signature stay was perfectly planned with the right amount of cooking and down time. We stayed in a gorgeous Sicilian villa complete with an expansive view of the rolling wheat fields, a plentiful garden, and infinity pool. I LOVED the cooking lessons. We made delicious ravioli, meatloaf, tuna, cannoli, and lots more classic Sicilian dishes.
What truly made it a memorable week was the people we met. From the gardener to the chef to the Sicilian women and coordinators everyone was wonderful and they brought a truly magical group of people together. I highly recommend!!!

We had a fabulous stay on the farm with wonderful cooking class annd a visit to sheep farm with cheese making and meals. Our hosts were fabulous and the premises gorgeous. Such a pity we only had time to stay 1 night but amazing how exciting that short time was.

How much did we love this place, the centerpiece of our Sicilian adventure? Four days of cooking with Kyle, an accomplished young chef from Seattle, Enza, a fabulous baker and Sicilian cook, and of course, Fabrizia Tasca Lanza, our host and expert guide through the culture of Sicilian food, agriculture and life. We made involtini, polpetonne, fiore de zucca, pannelle, and more, and then we ate it all, and more. Lucia guided us through the gardens filled with herbs and flowers. We visited Felipe’s farm and watched him convert 200 liters of fresh sheep’s milk into pecorino and ricotta. Corrado talked non-stop about Tasca wines, which we sampled often throughout our stay. The days were very hot, the pool was perfect for cooling off and napping. Our rooms were old world and elegant. Many thanks to every one at Case Vecchie. Especially Fabrizia, Ana, Francesca, Kyle, Chiara, Enza, Lucia, and all the wonderful ladies in the kitchen. An unforgettable experience.

We spent 2 nights here in October 2022. I would call what we did more of a farm to table experience than a cooking school - we visited a loca shepherd / cheesemaker and also went on a winery tour, and only cooked one of the six meals we ate during our two day stay. The grounds are lovely and the staff feels like family, this was a worthy two day country experience during our two week visit to Sicily. Only suggestions for improvement are to heat the pool - it's lovely but too cold to use, and have local varietals tasting and education at the winery instead of a very long and very wine-free winery history session.

Wonderful location in the vineyards, almost too beautiful to be true (but it is). Brunch cooking lesson was very interesting, thanks to the expertise of Kyle who seems to know literally everything about Italy and its regional kitchens. Great hosting team doing everything to feel you at home. Enjoyed every second of our stay and we take a lot of inspiration back home.

Such a wonderful experience. The staff was so knowledgeable and patient. Could not have asked for a more fulfilling class. We learned a lot about different flours and how to apply them. A special thanks to Chef Kyle who helped guide our journey.
The quality of the kitchen and tools made the event so enjoyable.

I attended this cooking school in Oct/Nov 2018. I loved the class, the school and the area. It was very hard to leave when the class was over. The owner and employees are very warm and friendly, they make the classes so much fun. I also had wonderful classmates, which made the experience even better. The field trips were great. The class I attended was an Olive Oil class and we were able to watch the process of extracting the oil. All in all a great experience and I will be back one day.

I had an amazing experience in this cooking school. We had great teachers, great produce, great meals were made and tasted. We visited local farmers, entrepreneurs, and had wonderful time at the pool! If you are looking for something authentic, interesting, exciting, but also allowing you to rest - go for Anna Tasca Lanza.

Wow! What an amazing place. We had a wonderful time at our cooking class and chef Kyle was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. After the class, we sat down with the chef, the owner and 2 of their staff. It's definitely an experience I will never forget.

I spent 5 days in heaven at the Anna Tasca Lanza cooking school at Case Vecchie in Sicily. The entire week was a dream-like paradise with back-to-back incredible food and beverage experiences, broken up by delicious afternoons lazing in their infinity swimming pool surrounded by bucolic countryside!!!

We roasted pieces of a giant fresh tuna from owner Fabrizia’s fishmonger in Palermo; we curled fresh pasta on tiny gnocchi boards; we baked sour cherry and watermelon jelly tartlets. We got up early to meet “the cheese poet” shepherd (a moniker we gave him for his devotion to sheep’s milk cheese!) at his dairy, watched him make ricotta and ate it (still hot!) for breakfast. We tasted walnut amaro they made right there; salty gin in a village square; and wines from family-owned Tasca D’Almerita - Regaleali Estate, one of the biggest producers in Sicily. We painted using plant-based dyes. We barbecued ribs from a pig they raised themselves. We laughed, we learned, and there was a fresh cake for breakfast every single morning.

Definitely a bucket list experience that I recommend to everyone who loves food, wine, and the people who love, grow, raise, produce, cook and make it! (FYI they just posted their dates for 2024 on their website!)

What an incredible learning experience! Fabrizia and her team made this week unforgettable with their knowledge, expertise and hospitality. This is the best place to go to truly experience the beauty of Sicily and the richness of its culture.

We stayed at the cooking school for 2 nights of a 17-day tour of Sicily. This was our favorite experience among many incredible places we visited. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful and the accommodations were so authentic! Our room was clean, beautiful, and immersed us in the Sicilian country estate aesthetic. The staff were so knowledgeable and kind that we felt as if we were right at home. We had the loveliest conversations with these very interesting and knowledgeable women managing the school and accommodations. The food and wine were exactly what I had hoped for. I was in search of the dishes of my childhood from my Sicilian grandmother’s kitchen and these included those nuisances flavors. The best part was that we got to learn how to make these dishes by Fabrizia and her cooking school colleague Anna. Fabrizia has so much knowledge that can’t be described accurately here. Her cooking is informed by the land, the culture, and her heritage to both. Anna too is a wealth of information and her respect for the heritage ways of growing and cooking food was a real treat. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer! We will be back!!!

I cannot recommend Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School highly enough. My daughter, son-in-law, and I spend a wonderful week there and learned so much. The best thing was that we got to eat what we learned!
