This beach is great! You can tell this is where people from the city come to hang out and relax. It’s beautiful, peaceful and convenient, 1.5 hours from Kingston, 20 minutes from Ocho Rios, 1 hour from Montego Bay. It’s $500 JMD pp, $1500 JMD if you want food and drinks.

There is a local cook right outside the beach gates, his name is Andrew, and he makes the best fried whole snapper I’ve ever tasted in my LIFE. It’s around $2500 JMD per plate… worth it!

It’s a hidden gem and I hope it stays that. Spacious and quiet, went there on a holiday and it was decently empty, we had our own section without being affected by the other patrons. Water is pretty clean also, didn’t try the food here so can’t speak about that but the beach is wonderful.

What a beautiful and peaceful place 🥰 The food amazing and made to order. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is private and soooo beautiful. Thank you so much for the experience. The place is hard to find but it is off the main road you have to turn at the Cool Oasis gas station and the road leads you straight there just follow it until the end 🇯🇲

Excellent!!! A simple Google search or beaches to go to in Ocho Rios led my family and I to Rio Nuevo, St. Mary. It is right at the border of St. Ann.

Fairly secluded, family friendly place. Secured parking, two restaurants, two bars, craft vendor and interesting things to see. Steam fish and lobster was delicious!!!

Ambiance is just right and the vibe was nice.

Beach is beautiful with ample areas to sit, lay out, picnic etc.

This was definitely a great find. I will certainly be back very soon...

Sugarpot Ruins remains a secluded gem serving delicious meals on the beach. Taking its’ name from the 19th century cast iron sugarpots found on the premises that were once used for exporting sugar, this is a restaurant sure knows how to sweeten the pot by also providing scenic views and private alcoves. It's so secluded, enjoy a.noce steamed fish and Tammy with a cold Red Stripe. It's a must see, I'm your next visit to Jamaica.

Gray place to come have a meal and chill at a secluded beach. A bit difficult to find. You have to turn at the gas station and follow the rocky road to the beach.

The road to get down to the beach is a little sketchy but trust the process it’s leading you to paradise ! We spent our weekend here today it’s very peaceful, very clean and spotted the owner cleaning his own beach !!! Great food services. The beach is awesome very clear water. Everything is beautiful and perfect.

Always go there when on vacation in JA. The water is calm, which is great as I am not a good swimmer. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff friendly. It's located in a cul de sac and offers parking facilities. Also love the almond trees which give shade while relaxing in the sand.

I've been there a few times. Josh will chat you up about Beach maintenance and building the place up from ruins. Have not really eaten here in a while.... but the beers cold.

The wome. who own the bar are amazing. Their beach is located in a weird spot at the gas station, so little tricky ro find. Be careful on the bridge it has a huge hole with board sticking out so stay to the left. The food is great but the ocean access is paradise. Drive to the very end though the fishing village and there you will reach the amazing restaurant and beach.

Wonderful baked conch with extra garlic. Josh and Deirdre are welcoming and friendly. Food cooked to order so not fast, but sit back, enjoy the view, company and beer. Lovely afternoon, and the first of many.

My visit here was the best environment where I did one of my best photo shoots..
The people there have a warm welcome to those who are on their property, to me it's by far one of the best beaches in St. Mary if you want to grab a bite from their restaurants, have a drink at the bar or have a swim at the beach...

Perfect for a hang with family and friends. We didnt eat, but friends did and said the good was great. You can for an extra $500 bring your own picnic, which is what we did. Perfect day!
