Nami Island Wharf

This is my second time at this island. It is a peaceful and tranquil place to stroll around, despite the amount of tourists, the island is very big, so there's still a lot of area where it is pretty quiet.

There are also public restroom and food areas where you can get some food.

There's also some animals where you can see on the island. I saw ostriches during autumn, and wild rabbit during winter.

During autumn though, there were lots of small flying insects that will fly into your face or fly above your head to get warmth from you but they will die very quickly once they land on you. I have no idea what they are but it does not seem to bother most people as they seem pretty harmless.

During winter, they have this ice sledding area where people can ride a float down the pile of snow. Temperature here is still comfortable. Wasn't too cold.

That 's a nice place where they filmed "The Winter love song" movie. That' s a popular movie which have many big stars in Korea played. The landscap is very beautiful.

It's so pretty! My fave place in SoKor. There's a ferry that would take you to the main island itself it take about 10 mins of waiting for the next one. The park is clean, the locals there were nice, there are picnic chairs available, coffee and convince store at the entrance of the island. Bathroom was clean as well.

I did visit during winter but it may be more beautiful on other seasons like spring or autumn.

Always beautiful especially during autumn. Was lucky enough to experience the first snowfall in the island. It was magical.

I love it so much..my memory with my family remains in my heart. One of the best places.

We came to Nami Island in winter, our hands felt frozen. Definitely we will come again in sring during the cherry blossom season.

Very beautiful fall foliage, 5 minutes boating to reach island, 1.30 hours far from Seoul city, foods are quite expensive.

Transition point to take the ferry towards nami island. There are convenience stores available along with restaurants selling the local spicy chicken, just a short walk away.

Cool place to visit in the fall. Lots of fall foliage.

A must visit place for people visiting seoul... Jus 1.5 hrs away from Seoul. Must try the famous chuncheon Dak kalbi restaurants.. tastes too good. The nami island as such a peaceful place with lots of good landscapes .. we visited during the autumn to witness the foliage ♥

I recommended riding a speedboat going to this island, its very extreme and unforgettable experience.You will not regret.

Fabulous in Autumn! The trees and open areas are amazing to run through. Must go for tourists visiting South Korea. Easy to access with a massive amount of options getting there with South Korea's massive and modern infrastructure system and countless tour trips. The lines do get long sometimes, when leaving and entering the island.

There are two ways to get to Nami Island. The cheaper option is the ferry, which most of the people would use. Since the ferry is large, waiting times are not long. The ferry ride itself is about 3 minutes long.

The more expensive and extreme option is the zip-line. It is also the faster way to the island (around 1 minute) and perhaps more exciting.

Easy and accessible, lots of cafes and great (cheap) souvenirs and plenty of bathrooms and smoking areas.

It's very easy to purchase the ticket on the harbor. You can pay cash or with machine. We paid 32,000 won for 2 tickets and about 10,000 for parking.
