Majang Reservoir Suspension Bridge

Nice place to visit with family and especially if you are a fan of trekking/walking. You can do boating also and explore the reservoir.

One of must visit place in Gyeonggi-do and Korea. Amazing place. Main attractions are Majang Suspension bridge and boating in the lake. You feel thrilled while walking on the suspension bridge. Its really amazing. After crossing the bridge there's no place to sit and relax. Need to return as soon as possible. But its not mandatory. Another attraction is boating in the lake. There are 2 types cycling and kayak. Cycling type available for 2 person and 4 person. Time duration is 30min. Its enough to cover the limited area in the lake. Its nice experience. Lots of parkings are available. Better choose parking-3, it's spacious and convenient for bridge and boating locations.

Incredibly scenic views and a nice walk area around the lake. I recommend the trip up here from Seoul.

Very nice Sunday to visit this lake ! A little hard to get there from Seoul, we took subway and 2 buses, in total 2 hours. But the lake is amazing in sunny days, the bridge was full of people and Korean families. Impressive bridge.
You can enjoy canoe and boat for 30 minutes in the lake !! I recommend this place

The parking lot is close to the cafe there and not too expensive but only payable with card. You can see an amazing sunset from near the parking lot because the cafe tower is closed very early. The bridge closes at 6pm so take care of the time when you arrive.

Whether you're jetting over from Gwang-tan or coming over the hills of Jang-heung, Majang Lake is breathtaking. Most visitors try to park close to the cafe near the suspension bridge, however, it's only possible during the weekday. The recent additions of surplus parking around the lake alleviates this issue. The suspension bridge sways a little more than other comparable bridges so beware, if you're prone to motion sickness. I still think it's worth it. There are camping sites around the lake for those who want to take in more of the beauty! Great hiking and walking courses around the lake!

Wonderful place for fall colors and a nature walk. There use to be a privately-owned Elvis museum a little further down the road. Wonder if it is still there.

If anyone wants to go out of Seoul City, here is one of very good place to visit if Seoraksan is too far to visit because Majang Lake is only 20 km far from Seoul. The scenery is very beautiful and the shaking bridge is a fun things to walk across. The bridge will close at 18.00 pm

There are many camping, hotels and motels along the way to Majang Lake. Moreover many restaurants have seats to enjoy lunch or dinner nearby the stream.

Majang lake has a nice view, but there is a traffic jam in weekend time. Therefore, I'd like to recommend a visiting of weekdays.

Beautiful in the Summer and autumn. Its in the paju city. Get off at Unjeong station and take the 1500 bus to go there.

I love nature. The suspension bridge had beautiful views. I heard it is a famous place in Paju.

Really nice place to go for a walk

Gorgeous and amazing park. Wish we could have stayed longer. The suspension bridge was fun and much sturdier than I expected.

It was actually really nice. Apparently some people don't know this but the tall building near it actually has a cafe on the top floor with refreshing drinks. I tried the grapefruitade, the lemonade, and the mango juice and they were all really good. The view up there is really nice and the vibe is really chill. From the bridge you can see the boats, kayaks and canoes. I really wanted to try the kayaks but unfortunately we had one more person than the limit. Kayaks can hold three people, canoes can hold two. The cycling boats however hold four so we rode that. The two people in the back are the ones directing the boat as well as cycling. You get 30 minutes and once the alarm on the boat rings you can start coming back. Although it was tiring, it was a really nice experience. The boat also has a shade covering the passengers from the sun while the kayak and canoes don't.
