The nicest beach in Jeju according to some reviews - and it certainly lived up to its expectations! 👍🏻

We managed to change upon a local fishing for some small fishes while we were there and like many others, we sat around looking at him fish 🎣 it was a rather interesting thing to watch somehow!

The sea water was clear kudos to the blue skies, and water was obviously cold as we approach the autumn!

Definitely a great beach to come by and get some photos in while enjoying the breeze and soak in the atmosphere! 🌬

A very quiet and peaceful small beach. The color of the sea goes from turquoise to blue. The sand is very fine and golden. People go there have the option of camping around the beach. There are showers, bathrooms, convenience stores and restaurants and some small hotels.

Great place to watch sunset. Althought it was cloudy when we went. Quite windy as well. Chilly on November Weather. No swimming though i think it is for safety. great during the summer months.

The wide stretch of powdery sand covers a very long coastline here. When I'm here in November, the winds are so strong that the beaches here need to be protected. There are para-sailing available here still at this time.

We had so much fun at this beach. A beautiful view of the island and lots of areas for swimming of exploration of nature. We found a lot of hermit crabs and other small sea creatures to explore. This place is great for families and anyone who loves the ocean. It does get busy with a lot of people and parking was a bit tough. We opted for paid parking which cost us around $3 CAD - totally worth it.

Beautiful beach to walk and stand in the water. I would have loved to have gone swimming there, but I left my bathing suit back at the hotel. The water is beautiful and so clear!

Romantic and peculiar Hyeopjae Beach, visited in February, was a serene and captivating coastal gem despite the cooler weather. The expansive shoreline, adorned with white sand and crystal-clear waters, retained its natural beauty even during the quieter winter season. The surrounding scenery, including nearby Hallasan Mountain, added a picturesque backdrop to the beach. While the weather limited traditional beach activities, the tranquil atmosphere allowed for peaceful walks along the shore, taking in the beauty of the coastline. Hyeopjae Beach in February offered a serene escape, showcasing Jeju's natural charm and providing a peaceful retreat amidst the serene coastal vistas.
Magic Jeju!

Hyeopjae Beach was clear, soft sand, less seaweed but crowded, so I swam at Geumneung Beach, which was walking distant since it's on the same area. Geumneung had some seashells on the sand shores, more seaweed, and water was slightly less clear, but I really liked it since it was less crowded and a bigger swimming area. Waves were really soft, so I was able to float on my back. Weather changed from sunny to stormy really fast and it was a nice experience. Warm and cold water keep coming and going.

Very pleasant and clean beach. Came during sunset and it was very lovely and not crowded (June 2022). Great place for family, anyone actually. There are many cafes/eateries around the area too.

A gorgeous beach, very shallow and calm. Would be great to spend more time here and swim around the bay

Clear waters and white sands are combined with broken shells, this long and beautiful shoreline offers a mesmerizing view of low-tide, with Biyangdo Island floating in the distance.
The blue translucent water creates the illusion that one might even reach the island on foot.
This year, the beach is open even during the night time, offering another tourist attraction.

This beach is a nice gateway. The waters are crystal clear, lots of space, kid friendly. Lots flotation devices and umbrellas rentals, showers available. Budget friendly. Walking distance to restaurants and gifts shop, paring is available.

We came early and had a sea-side brunch. It was delightful. The water was clear and the beach was clean.

How beautiful scenery and colorful sea in Jeju. My elder son has discovered a school of fish that was swimming peacefully and he tried to catch them up with a neat that he brought it from home. I want to curve this scene because I don't push him to study for good scores on the test at school.I let him to find what he wants to be ... yes it's hard to live in this ideal world with real life in Korea though. Only i can do is to love him as he is not high standards of others.
Long times later, don't forget my son, when you grow up if you see these things, and you have your own kids you know what love is.
