Gostevoy Dom Zhuldyz-1

Warm hospitality, friendly conversation with Zhuldyz, delicious homemade food, and the best чай I tried in Kazakhstan. We loved our stay!

We stayed here only one night but if it was possible (time was chasing us because of the rented car) we would have stayed longer. Very nice family guest house, comfortable and with delicious food. We really felt like at home!

We had the best stay in Kazakhstan in this lovely guest house. The host and her family are very warm, kind and hospitable. They have prepared us great dinner and breakfast as well. The rooms are small but perfectly clean and tidy, as well ad the bathroom, which we shared with other guests, but as it was in really good condition we felt like it was only ours. In the end we got in some trouble because we didn’t have enought cash in tenge for the rest of our trip, and the ATMs are very far away from Sati. But the host was so kind and she exchanged some euros we had with us to tenge. :) We highly recommend this!

Our guide Artur brought us here for lunch after our trip to Kaindy Lake. Our host is very warm and hospitable. Food is an impressive Kazak style spread. We love the home made apricot and raspberry jams! And surprise! Our host has a stash of spicy chilli paste to share for those who like their food spicy.

Really nice host, delicious food and very modern and clean bathroom facilities (which is a rare thing in the Kazakh countryside). Our hosts also helped us with arranging a shared taxi back to Almaty and even served us breakfast at 6 am before we left. The room is kept simple but clean and had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay!

What a great place to spend a few days! Everything was very clean an modern, especially the shared bathroom! We got 3 traditional meals a day and they were very deliciouse. Communication was a bit tricky but the hosts are very nice and helping. Would totally recommand it to everyone

What a great place with fantastic service and facilities. I was prepared for outside toilet :), and what a surprise was comfortable clean rooms, spotless common toilet and shower. Food was tasty and as a native Kazakh I must say it tasted as my mom’s. We also asked for a private sauna for 500tenge for person. Thank you Zylduz for s great welcoming!

First travel to Kaindy and Kolsai lakes and we stayed at this hotel for 1 night only but it's really enough to get the idea! I was there with my husband and son (from France) plus several friends from Kazakhstan who already stayed with Zhyldyz (our host) in 2016. We asked our agency to book at her place as our friends absolutely loved it the first time. We were very lucky as she had the vacancy and... everything our Kazakh friends told us was true and even better! The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and clean as well. They have a shower and toilet, one for several rooms yes, but it's really comfortable and clean! Considering that it's a small village I must say she has a 5* service! Zhuldyz is a very nice and kind person, she speaks a bit of English and she learns a bit more with every tourist. Very welcoming, food is great and "dastyrkhan" a table is always full! Traditional and tasty just like we like in the middle of beautiful mountains of Kazakhstan! No words can be enough as Zhylduz is a perfect host that I'd recommend to everyone who wishes to go there! Thanks to Zhylduz for her excellent cuisine and a comforting traditional Kazakh "tea with milk" at the end of the hiking day!

Nice guesthouse with friendly owners. Tasty food and good accommodation option for my travelers. After long hiking day to Kolsay 2nd lake you can ask owner for sauna (banya). Good experience if you haven't tryied it before. Don't forget to watch millions of the stars after dark

Отличное место для отдыха в формате гестхауз. Достоинства: очень вкусная еда в интересной атмосфере гостеприимного дома, где можно полезно пообщаться не только с хозяевами, но и с другими гостями на разных языках. Тёплый, чистый номер, спалось как у моей бабушки в деревне)) Жулдыз всегда даст хороший и правильный совет , как с пользой провести время и максимально логистически правильно организовать свой отдых и построить маршруты. Прежде, чем ехать , посоветуйтесь с хозяйкой)) Помогает решить вопросы с трансфером. Спасибо за гостеприимство и баурсаки с домашним вареньем)) очень приятно было быть Вашим гостем

Мы посетили семьёй гостевой дом Жулдыз. Нас угостили очень вкусными национальными блюдами казахской кухни. Размер порций превзошел все ожидания. На столе для гостей стояли баурсаки, варенье, конфеты. А так же по нашей просьбе были приготовлены вегетарианские блюда. Нам были предложены небольшие, но очень чистые и уютные комнаты для ночлега. Гостевой дом Жулдыз оставил у нас очень хорошие впечатления.

Очень гостеприимные хозяева, отличная кухня, добавки не жалеют, для вегетарианцев приготовят отдельно, только надо предупредить заранее. Номера чистые. Соотношение цена-качество 5+

Всё было отлично. Чисто, уютно и тепло. Юрта просто супер.
Очень красиво оформлена с наружи и внутри. Но главное здесь хозяева гостевого дома ""Жұлдыз"" они очень милые и отзывчивые люди.
