The bus number 400 from Colombo to Aluthgama, which starts/ends here, is a godsend for tourists opting for public transport to travel to areas like Beruwala, Bentota, and Kosgoda. They have an A/C bus every 30 minutes, costing less than Rs 500 to Colombo and stopping at many bus stands in between. These A/C busses are very less crowded and reaches Colombo within 2 hours. You can easily get a Tuk or car using the PickMe app and travel to your destination around Aluthgama from this bus stand if you're coming from Colombo. If you're in a hurry, there are non A/C buses to Colombo every 10-15 minutes as well. There are also other buses to Kribathgoda/Kadawatha and Kaduwela from here.

Most terrible. at poya days there is no buses in 408 Mathugama Aluthgama road. Even there was no SLTB bus to travel me also.
