Wijaya cafe

Took Breakfast on our way to Haputale. The buffet was 600/- pp and it was very delicious. There was a board saying English Breakfast is available but we tried Sri Lankan Breakfast. It had red rice, String hoppers, bread(usual Sri lankan baked break slices which is yummy), pittu in a reasonable size, Chickpea with coconut chunks. There were yummy dhal curry, potato white curry,cabbage and fried fish fry, polsambola.. All were yummy!

We went to wijaya cafe after a long travel, they didnt offer any ala carte menu options but rather the buffet lunch. It was a vegetarian menu with decent options and they also serve meat / egg on request.
If you go there right on time, you can enjoy your meal basically straight out of the pan. If you happen to come early or very late then yea food will either go stale or you have to wait till the food is prepared, the latter happened to us.
Overall, highly recommend the place for a refresher and to have some good food, I dont remember seeing other decent restaurants on the way.

Delicious food and Best place to have brackfast and Lunch evening Tea and Vegetables Rotti . Also they have Kithul Juggary , a side some Natural Gemstones and silver jewelry too.

This is the best place to have a meal or quick snack on the way from Ratnapura to Idamgoda and there is no other good place in between. Service is so friendly and helpful and also meals are very delecious. Rooms are also available in their place and can be booked. They also have adventure camp and pdrior reservation is to be made.

It's a decent café with limited parking. There's an average amount of seating space available along with washrooms.

We went there for breakfast, and they had baked goods as well as a buffet set up. The filling in the fish bun was spicy, and the kimbula bun wasn't fresh or soft. The washrooms were decent, and the customer service was good.

It's not too bad, but won't really be going there again.

I stopped here to take my breakfast. It wasn’t that much good. Only red rice and noodles were available and only veg. The dining area was somewhat good, but the bathrooms were smelly. Food was ok. Chicken bun was tasty. But it was only available after lunch. For breakfast only few short eats were available. Needs improvement.
