Very nice place

A very cool and calm place for a vacation. There is a river right behind the dormitory. There are several places to visit when you stay there.
1. Anagimala ella
2. Jaint Navada tree
3. Another ella ( cant remember the name.)
4. Kabbale hill hike
Visit 2 ellas and tree is a 3-4 hour walking journey. Early morning is the best time for this to visit birds and other animals. Evening is also good for this. For the hike it is best to go in the early morning. For the hike get ready with hiking boots and others. It is a moderate level hike.
Finally you will see heaven at the top. ❤❤❤❤

I visited the Forest Department Dormitory Kanneliya for a spiritual program. I began my journey from Weligama. The main road was good, but there were traffic jams near cities. The place gets crowded on holidays and weekends, and the way to the dormitory is narrow, causing buses and other vehicles to get stuck. Kanneliya is a nature-oriented place controlled by the government. You can swim in the river, walk through the forest, and participate in spiritual and meditation programs. There are a few shops and food outlets around.

Breakfast was not that satisfying. But the lunch was good. The rooms were provided to us with just the beds and mattresses no blankets were provided

සුළු මුදලකට විශාල ප්‍රමාණයකට නතර වෙන්නපුලුවන්. ඒත් පිරිසිදුකම තව ගොඩාක් දියුණු වෙන්න ඕනි. අලුත්වැඩියාව මසි. කෑම උයල දෙන්න සේවකයින් ඉන්නවා. කෑම වරදක් නැහැ.
