Kanneliya Eco Garden

Best place to explore the Kanneliya Forest Reserve. Very affordable rooms with attached bathrooms and beds.

Quality service which includes tasty lunch and tea with jaggery. You can have a free river bath in front the place.

Make sure to go on a hike inside the Forest Reserve which is very close to the Eco Garden. They have hourly and day guided hikes where you can learn lot of things about the environment.

It’s one of my highly recommended 1.5 hours forest getaway from Colombo. 👌🏽

Me and my brother had a very nice stay for 3 nights, the room/beds are basic, hot shower, and a very very friendly owner. The breakfast and dinners were very very good. Bit between a homestay and a hotel. Animals from the national park also visit his garden lots of birds, lizards and so on. Great if your looking for something more real and adventurous.
