Nil Sisila Beach Resort - Yala

Although the rooms are basic, the beach is unparalleled. You can spend hours here in peace watching the big waves crash against the rocks. I highly recommend the home cooked dinner by the friendly hosts. This place will not suit every traveller but for others it will be an amazing experience.

Amazing place and a great location. The location is amazing and gives you the time you want to spend with yourself. No intrusion and an easy access to the beach. The host was very good and ensured all our dietary requirements were fulfilled

This place is absolutely tranquil and exquisite. It is placed in a wonderful location.
We felt lost in nature during the stay. The animal sounds in the night and the sound of the sea and birds in the morning were different wow experience.
The food was truly a gourmet standard; goodness knows how it is prepared with such basic facilities. Owner Hansa took an amazing care of us.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Yala. The delicious breakfast, convenient location, and friendly staff make it a top choice for any traveler.

Stunningly beautiful place. Loved the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves and the service was exceptional. Listening to the sound of the waves crashing while star gazing was the highlight of the stay! Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. Mr.Hansa and his family were great hosts and attended to all our needs promptly. We loved the privacy of the place just to our group. All the meals were exceptional!!! We will definitely come back for more !!!

A fantastic place to stay in Yala! Very close to the National Park and easy access to the stunning beach. Food was delicious and the rooms were nicely maintained and fully air conditioned. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Perfect place for a nice getaway. Really loved the location, which was within walking distance of the beach (as clearly seen in the attached pictures). The rustic vibes of the rooms and the place was really pleasing and lovely. Also, the owner and his wife, who were in charge of the place, were very accommodating and friendly. Absolutely loved their friendly aura. Will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway with good food.

Nil Sisila Beach resort in Palatupana is a place where you can get the true hospitality with star class service. This is a sea view Villa , Rooms are superb condition with very clean and neat. Sorounding is also awesome Palatupana beach gives an extra beauty to this place.
Foods , Woow woow woow. I ate my best meal in this place. If I can rate the foods I will give 150 out of 100. Owner of this Hotel is Mr. Hansa a true gentleman with good policies,grate customer services and kind heart. Me and My wife had a grate time in this place. Highly recommended this place for both local and foreign tourists.

Staying in Nil Sisila, was the best experience ever for us. 🤗💫 The Owner is very welcoming and super nice. The accommodation is very authentic, like the Sri Lankans used to live: Room with AC and big porch with beds to relax. The food was so so good: Freshly cooked every day, authentic kitchen, super yummy and always enough food. We've enjoyed it so much. 🥰 We shared lots of good stories with the owner and the could get an answer to any question. The location is very close to Yala National Park, so you just need 15 mins to the Park entrance for a safari. We could witness beautiful Sunrises and the spent lots of time on the ocian. Everything was perfect for us, thank you so much. 🙏

Hansa, the owner and host, with his hands-on approach pulled out all the stops to make my stay the best it could be. The location, accommodation and catering are amazing value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough.

When my husband suggested this place for our long awaited vacation I was skeptical first judging by the photos. Anyway we went there with our family of 9 with kids.

My god I would’ve missed the best three days of my life if I chose to go elsewhere. This place has the most photogenic beach I have ever seen. Rooms were small and average but we didn’t mind since all we wanted was a clean private beach for our kids. Very clean and well maintained.

Mr Hansa didn’t mind entertaining us with his great stories and Mrs Disna’s cooking was delicious. This place might seem average at first but there is something that makes you feel like home.

We are definitely going back there next year.

I visited Nil Sisila Beach Resort with a group of friends. The owner of the resort is very friendly. Even before the visit, he helped us a lot in planning our vacation. We had an awesome BBQ dinner. Breakfast and lunch were also tasty. The rooms were clean. The resort is next to a beautiful beach which is not crowded at all. On the day we visited, we were the only ones on the beach.

This was a long awaited review. But I should say we had an unforgettable time at NIL Sisila.We spent 2 nights in this beautiful lodge and we truly enjoyed our stay. Mr.Hansa and Mrs.Disna always had a smile on their faces and made sure our stay was comfortable and hospitality provided by them were beyond our expectations. The bungalow consists of 2 bed rooms with double beds and 5 single beds in a corridor outside. Ideal for anyone up to experience the true wildlife and nature.Mrs.Disna s food was extraordinary delicious.The sea was just a walk away and we truly enjoyed our stay at Nil Sisila. Truly reccomend this place.

Our recent stay at Nil Sisila was upmost fantastic. We really enjoyed the relaxing experience along with a refreshing atmosphere. This Hotel is ,without a doubt, one of the best hotels in the area with a great view of the beach ,which is right next to the hotel. Mr. And Mrs. Hansa (owners of the hotel) were very friendly and amazing people, who gave us an enjoyable experience. The food is just perfect! Would definitely stay here again!

We were a family of five and this was the ideal place for us due to many reasons. If one is looking for a comfortable place to stay close to Yala national park, highly recommended. Clean, well equipped, good food and secluded.

Located on the Kirinda to Yala road and close to the beach, the southern sea is such a refreshing site after a long safari trip in the jungle.

The owners were extremely accommodating and possessed a vast amount of knowledge about the sanctuary and its environs, which was shared with lots enthusiasm. The best was about a hermit who lives in a cave in the jungle on the Sithulpawwa road which was worth visiting. Inspiring tales were told to us by this recluse.

So……..a big thank you to the owners for all their hospitality and the stories about everything to do with the wilderness . “Nil Sisila Beach resort” was a very a good experience.

Beautiful Setting and Exceptional Food and Service

Absolutely beautiful and well maintained property. It was a really pleasant experience right from the time we entered. The rooms and the facilities are well maintained and Hansa is very attentive to every detail and gave an exceptional service. Food was very tasty and authentic! Loved the stay and will definitely go back again!

We stayed at Nil sisila for three nights in July. It was a wonderful stay in a great location near the beach, on the perimeter of the park. Hansa and his wife ran the entire show and had a self sustaining model. We were the only ones there and had the entire place including the beach. Rocky with sand dunes this beach had a different appeal than the rest around the island. The rooms are basic and simple with Aircon, serves the purpose of staying near the jungle and is not far away of nature.
Delicious appetizing homemade meals left us belly full every time and we thank Hansa's wife especially for all her efforts in making multiple dishes/meals. Hansa was absolutely friendly and we enjoyed many conversations on flora and fauna and his past experience in wildlife/camping. He also arranged a safari for us with an experience driver who managed to drive around the outside of the park (due to it been closed) providing us with great sightings. Overall we didn't want to leave, we felt at home and will be back. 😀

We were there last week. It’s really a good and affordable place near yala forest. The people who maintain this place are really friendly. They arranged everything for us. Also they are maintaining this place really well. I mainly check the washroom in the hotel. Cleanliness of a Washroom will tell the quality of the hotel. In that case this resort is a really good place to stay.

Awesome place. What i really love about this place is the food. Normally me and my wife are very concerned about the food when we go somewhere. Food here is top quality. Owner Mr. Hansa and his wife are super friendly. Nice place to have a relaxing hideout. Watched the sun rise and sun set at their beach. Amazing scene. If you are a local traveller directly call and book for a better price

One of the best private villas to stay in Yala. Calm and quite place. Private beach front property with amazing views of the ocean. Friendly owner with good cooking skills and well maintained clean property. Highly recommended!
