Beautiful space, delicious food, warm and welcoming owners.

They have fun community events like markets and movie nights.

Good WiFi makes it a great spot to chill or work.

Highly recommend the prawn dumplings.

I came to cafe Ceylon for a movie night near Christmas where they screened “the holiday”… the vibe was amazing and made me feel like I was hanging with friends watching a film. I ate the dumplings and the pumpkin soup and the soup was so good I ordered a second one. Service was super friendly and fast. I highly recommend going if you are in Ahangama.

We had a very nice experience with Café Ceylon. We were there for Christmas dinner. The tables were set to a high standard, the food tasted very good and the restaurant generally looked very good. The service was also excellent.

My wife and I have visited Café Ceylon two days in a row and really liked our experience there. All the staff is really friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and flavourful. My wife also really enjoyed the coffee here.

We visited Cafe Ceylon for Christmas Eve dinner. We'd booked in advance directly with the owner - a bubbly and hospitable expat lady originating from Germany (but hasn't been back in 45 years). The place is beautiful with a path lit with fairy lights leading down to the main restaurant. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas and a lot of effort had gone into the ambience. The service (by the owner and her daughter, along with the staff) was excellent and the food (which catered for vegans) was amazing too. The people it attracted were well dressed, friendly & well mannered types. We had a really great evening and look forward to returning. They also have a cowowrking space within the grounds so will be trying that out as well. 👍🏻

Went for Movie Night and dinner - had a lovely evening - The Lamb Shawarma and the fish and Chips were delicious . The Banana flamed with arrack and hakuru that was recommended was out of this world tasty. Will definitely be back for more of that.

We had fish'n'chips and whiskey sours, which were really good. Dinner arrived within 10 min (we were also early, so maybe waiting times can be longer). The fish was tender and the dough crisp, the salad crunchy fresh. Amazing interior. Great and romantic experience

What a vibe this place has! Community and co-working space with a fabulous kitchen and stylish designs! You must not miss this place when around Kabalana beach, tasty food, the best espresso in sri lanka (coffee lovers would understand the struggle of having a good coffee here) and a nice design shop in the garden too! Simply love!

Amazing restaurant and café!! We stayed in the Ahangama area for two weeks and ended up eating at Cafe Ceylon 3 times because we loved it so much. The atmosphere is great and the space is really cute! There is a big restaurant area for nighttime, a cute outdoor cafe for lunch and a nice little shop with things from local craftsmen. It’s all in one big green courtyard. The food is great - for lunch I would recommend the green curry tofu bowl! For dinner I would recommend the vegetarian burger. And you have to try the Arrack Sour! It’s sooo good! Highly recommend this place!

This place is hidden by the main road in front of the beach. It’s very private. You have a car parking. It’s comfortable and service is perfect. The pineapple juice with mint and coconut water is amazing and I do recommend you to try. Price is also good for the location and place!

A friend invite me over for a drink, I end up in a imperial Court with a coffee shop, a co-working space, a restaurant, a bar and with Britta and her daughter to welcome you as one of their family! I love so much to chill put after surfing and Live music was on with Angelo! Maybe one of the best place in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

We had a lovely dinner here listening to live music and thoroughly enjoying the laid back vibe. We really enjoyed the mahi mahi, lobster, cuttlefish, and dessert (brownie & vegan ice cream). Family owned and a community feel. Other reviews noting this has a western feeling aren't totally wrong, but I'd call it more a blended vibe. You're getting fresh local food with a more global spin on the flavors. The market has some really great clothing options as well, so don't miss a chance to shop some more upscale locally owned goods while you wait on your food.

In my opinion, the most delicious cafe in Ahangama. Shrimp dumplings are amazing here, and for dessert, the best brownie in the world. Thank you chefs!!!

An amazing spacious cafe in the south. They use some of the best local coffee in all their cups sure to leave you in bliss. Tori is the best barista!

Beautiful gardens, chill vibe, good food excellent smoothies. The owner is very welcoming and the service is friendly! One of my favorite places to hang out in Ahangama.

Tasty food, any kind of food, we took 2 different starters, 2 mains and desert, there were all super tasty, the local fruit drinks were amazing as well.

Beautiful colonial house decorated with a lot of taste, and the food is delicious, very elaborate at very reasonable prices! Deserts are excellent, they have a very good brownie with vanilla ice cream, banane flambée with local variation etc.. highly recommended!
