The best bakery on the route, and in Latvia, always fresh and delicious bread, pastries, confectionery and cookies. In the store you can also buy unique products of the highest quality, including meat and sausages, and fresh dairy products.

Located next to the A6 road on the banks of the Daugava. Excellent pastries, always fresh bread and rolls. Good range of beers. Outside there is a toilet and car parking. Good place for the short stop. Nearby there is also a small store with excellent meat and cheese products.

Hands down the best bakery in Latvia. You can buy warm, freshly baked bread and pastry in the bakery's store and have a lunch/dinner at a nearby cafe (belongs to the bakery as well).
My choice of bread: saldskābā ar sēklam (rye bread with seeds).
In cafe you really can’t go wrong, everything I’ve tried is fresh and tastes good. Prices aren’t high. Do try local quass (a non-alcoholic drink made from fermented rye bread).
We stop here every time we're passing buy.

Higly reccomend to try onion rye bread and eclers. Overall is very good quality and taste of freshly baked bread.

Great bakery. Delicious eclairs, super fresh and tasty bread, especially sour-sweet one. Napoleon cake tasted so-so but cinnamon buns were perfect, maybe they could have contained a bit more of the spice. There’s also a nice relaxing area nearby.

Very large choice of cakes, buns, cookies and all types of pastries only down side in summer gets super busy in the shop and the cafe they have.. almost always a line even with 2 cash registers but if you want to try some quality pastries it is a great spot!

Good bakery and bistro on the way to Latgale. Warning: toilet is a separate building outside for fee in cash only 0.30 EUR. Bistro clients can use free toilet inside, but there is almost no signs of that - read the plaque :)

Absolutely love bakery there. Every time I go through that road I always stop there to buy some buns and bread. The only problem is that the queues are too long and slow in weekends so it takes time, but it can only be done by reconstruction but for it you need time. Thus you can take a walk around and see the beauty of Latvian nature.

Food is crazy delivious and very good prices! And the eatablishement is very well kept and maintained.

Every time I have stopped by - they had freshly baked, still warm bread of all kinds. Tasty and authentic. They also have assortment of cookies and other snacks, and a caffe next door.
