I had lunch with colleague while on business trip back in Sep 2022. I had the most excellent fish. This restaurant serves real food.

Great location on the way to/from Aluksne or Gulbene, or, as in my case, Ķauķu kalns skiing holidays. Cosy atmosphere with nice fireplace, tasty food and polite, gracefully mannered inn-keeper. Good choice to have a stop there.

Excellent food & super friendly staff. Free parking and kids friendly place. Also electric vehicle charging point is available! Highly recommended!

Everything I wished for after a long trip: beautiful and cozy place, delicious food and the friendliest service.

Tiny but with surprisingly beautiful ambience and delicious food. A little pearl by the roadside to take a break. Absolutely recommended. Try the spicy beef soup and the pancakes! Oh, a menu in English is also available.
