Chez yolande

Wonderful hotel that is great value for what you get. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with good showers, comfy beds, good mosquito nets, lots of shelves to put your bits on, a working safe, etc. No fan or AC but there are tiny (very quiet) head fans rigged up inside the bed. That won't be enough for everyone but it was fine for me and my friends.
View when you step out of your bedroom in the morning is knock out: you are right on the sea! Every room has their own day beds just outside so you can relax there easily. Tide comes right up to below the balcony twice a day which is amazing. When the tide is down there is a small beach that is more of a harbour and has people fishing, coming in with boats, etc. Great for people watching.
We only ate breakfast there but it was very good, and we saw lots of groups coming from other islands/the mainland just to get lunch here. Super friendly staff who are happy to help with anything. They also lend our snorkel masks and a kayak for free! Wifi isn't very strong and you have to pay 3,000 for 250mb but hey, you're on an island in paradise!
Town is on your doorstep along with loads more restaurants, the crafts market, more beaches, etc. Definitely recommend!

Yolande est la perle l'île, nous y avons très bien mangé dans un cadre sublime, il est vrai que de temps à autre, l'eau se fait attendre un peu. Râleurs passez votre chemin.

Personnel aux petits soins pour la moindre demande, une carte peu variée (poissons crevettes calamars zébu) mais locale et sans problème pour un occidental. Chambres moustikproof
Ce n'est pas du 5 étoiles mais du grand confort pour un voyage sac a dos, le village est authentique

Delizioso lodge di fronte il mare con una vista incredibile. Madame yolande è gentile e disponibile il cibo straordinario.. Purtroppo noi siamo stati in un periodo terribile (prima decade di gennaio) con cicloni tropicali che non ci hanno dato tregua. Ma da ritornarci per la cordialità e l'ospitalità..

Les chambres confortables, une situation idéale sur l'île (si on ne cherche pas à être coupé du monde), une table délicieuse et, surtout, un service au top ! Merci à Yolande et toute son équipe pour cet accueil et ces attentions ! On reviendra ! Christelle, Simon, Naël (3ans) et Arthur (3 mois, qui a été bien chouchouté) avec Caroline et Bruno alias Papi Mamie

Immerso nella fitta vegetazione della foresta, simile a capanne esternamente ma con tutti i comfort all'interno. Ottima la veduta dal piano ristorante.

Stayed for 6 nights. Being on a remote island my expectations weren't too high, the stay overall was good. I would return. The downsides were you had to pay for Wifi even when paying for a room, and the wifi didn't work everyday of my stay. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom, and mouse droppings on the lounge chairs of the terrace. On one night there was a generator running for 12+ hours and the smell of gasoline was nearly unbearable, but this didn't continue after that one instance. Food is good and service is friendly. Warm water for showers and usb outlets for charging devices in the rooms. Can be loud at night on the weekends.
