Vallombre natiora

I’m glad I found this place during my Madagascar journey. Staying here was a breath of fresh air and relaxation! I stayed for 4 days but could have stayed longer.

Vallombre Natiora is a hotel/project run by Franck, whose passion and effort I deeply admire. For over 15 years, he has been reforesting the area, creating beautiful nature paths next to the guest house where you can walk freely to see birds, lemurs, and other wildlife.

Some rooms have a fireplace, which is a plus during the cooler evenings and nights.

I loved the common area with a cozy fireplace, tables, and chairs in front of a bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine and a cheese board or a nice meal. Also, loved to find some board games available for guest use: dominó, cards and others. (PS. Just as a fact, Wifi is only enough for WhatsApp and small tasks. I think this is not the place to come to connect to a device but I'm also a digital nomad. This is not for remote working, as least for now).

Frank’s chef is one of the best I encountered in Madagascar – I had no idea Zebu could be so delicious. Thank you also for our lovely anniversary cake!

¡Mejor alojamiento en todo el mes que estuvimos en Madagascar! Y si te gustas las aves, no encontrarás mejor lugar.

El lugar es hermoso y perfectamente acondicionado. Se nota cuando el lugar es atendido por su dueño, y se nota cada gota de esfuerzo que Franck le ha puesto a este hermoso proyecto.
Las habitaciones son espaciosas y luminosas. Recomiendo encarecidamente reservar una de las que tenga estufa a Leña, nada como poder leer acompañado del fuego y desde tu cama.
Hay un hall con juegos, chimenea, muchas vistas y un restorant de primera calidad, a precios muy accesibles. El staff es muy amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar en lo que uno necesite.

El bosque es maravilloso y en gran parte gracias Franck, quien hizo un trabajo de más de 15 años de reforestación hoy cuenta con bosque primario y secundario, donde puedes caminar gratuitamente con guía o solo. Cuenta con varios senderos, donde el más largo dura aproximadamente 2 horas. Puedes incluso hacer caminatas nocturnas, a ver si encuentras el lémur raton. En este lugar puedes encontrar 3 tipos distintos de lémur y más de 40 especies distintas de aves. Nos quedamos 3 noches y visitamos constantemente el bosque, simplemente no te cansas de verlo y ver con que te puede sorprender.

El alojamiento queda a 3km del pueblo de Ambatolaona, y Frank te puede ayudar a llegar en caso que no cuentes con transporte privado.

Franck est un super hôte accueillant et chaleureux. L’endroit est paisible, on profite vraiment de la nature à l’état sauvage. Le personnel est au petit soin.
On recommande à 100%, c’était un très bon séjour en couple. Le but de ce lieu est de limiter ses activités et d’arrêter d’être toujours dans le « faire ». Et plutôt se reposer, contempler et admirer. Vous retrouverez un calme intérieur rien qu’en regardant le paysage😊

Un bol d’air et de vert à 1h30 de Tana. Les chambres sont très confortables et propres, l’ambiance est chaleureuse, la nourriture est bonne, on a une très belle vue sur les collines de forêt endémique. Allez-y
