Great hotel to stay, rooms, food, staff and location all great

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The hotel is more isolated than I had realized, but we were able to hire a boat for transport and tours prior to check in. My only complaint was that the shower temperature is very inconsistent, but wasn't a big deal. The overall experience was great.

Our room was very wide and clean (Room 301). Breakfast was served from the morning market (bought from the morning market). Less visitors due to covid19, so it felt a little quiet this time.

One of the best hotel in Innlay. Hotel staffs are so friendly. Near Phoung Daw Oo pagoda.

Golden Island Cottages (GIC - 1) located in Nampan is the very first hotel in Inle Lake which is owned by Paoh ethnic group meaning that most of their profits go to the development sectors for Paoh people impacting postively in the community. If you're looking for a nice view, quiet, culturally historic place, you'll enjoy it. They also have GIC - 2 located in Thale U where you can do 'bird watch' in Inle Lake.

Staffs are very friendly and the place is cozy and nice. Recommend to stay at evening to see the sunset there.
