Htilominlo Pahto

Htilominlo Temple (ထီးလိုမင်းလိုဘုရား) is a Buddhist temple that was built in King Htilominlo reign in 1218 in a massive structure. A three stories temple with the height of 48m was damaged from the earthquake in 1975 and had been well restored shortly after that

A brick structure of Htilominlo Pahto has a symmetrical floor plan, the greenery pathway leads to the inner sanctuary of four Buddha statues facing each other, the traces of old murals on the wall made Htilominlo even more charm

Bagan is one of the most famous historical place in Myanmar for history of Buddhism. Thousands of pagodas, temples, statues around that places which built in 11th-12th century for the propagation of Buddhism. Thousands of visitors come to this place to visit and pay homage to the Buddha. It's a very attractive place to visit.

Big temple, free entrance ticket, good to spend time here, but we can't climb to temple to see sunset and sunrise anymore!

We had a great time participating Bagan Temple Marathon @ Bagan. First time visited Bagan and visited most of the Temples during marathon. There are around 500 people participate this events. I wish I can participate next year events. Check out the photos. :)

Cool temple, one of the larger ones in Bagan, also near a bunch of smaller temples which are easy to stop off at on your way. Unfortunately this was one of the temples badly damaged in the 2016 earthquake, but restoration is underway to bring it back to the way it was before. This is definitely one of the top 10 temples you should visit if you're in Bagan

One of my favourites in Bagan....I just like it. The feel of walking around in the courtyard, jus gives me a serene feeling.
What could have been in the past, is replaced with the array of stores selling local handicrafts and souvenirs. But that does not take away the beauty and charm of this place.
This place is where the story of the umbrella king will be told :)
Nice story that adds to the appeal of the place for me. The architecture, the way the bricks were laid....

This is the temple to visit if you want to also take home some souvenirs from Myanmar. The entire perimeter of the temple is lined with vendors selling lacquerware, paintings, books, clothes: you name it!

One of my Favorite Temple during our Temple Hunting Trip, i was so lucky meet this long neck Aunty from Myanmar , which is one of my hightlight to inlelake but unfortunately i have to skip due to my tight schedule trip 😭

Htilominlo Temple is a large, two-story, 12th-century temple in the northern part of the Bagan plain best known for its ornate stucco decoration.

Htilominlo Temple is one of sacred and most ancient Buddhist .

This temple was being restored and when we went there is an ongoing occasion. Great experience.

Another big Pagoda in the Bagan. It can see ancient art a lot. But not like other pagoda in the Bagan, we didn't get photo shooting assist from the kids. One of the surprising part is pagoda maintaining people, they requested for the guest registered. A little bit strange. All others are Ok.

A nice and funny place.It has an easy way to get it .A lot of shooting places.Wide car park.architecture is similar to thubbinyu.Interesting myth about the name but it's a false.

One of several temples, this one in particular looks stunning from the outside. Best way to get the most out of temple tours is get a Motorcycle and drive around to each one. I didn't enter this one though and at this point I didn't much feel the need to as they all have similar sights inside.
