Khaing Shwe Wha Vegetarian Restaurant ခိုင်ရွှေဝါ(သားသတ်လွတ်စားသောက်ဆိုင်)

The best place ever! You have to try this food as it is finger licking good! :-) We ordered tomatoe peanut curry, noodles, spring rolls and lots of drinks. Everything was perfect and the people who run this place are the nicest and most helpful guys I have met in a very long time. Upon arrival we were immediately given super cold tissues to freshen up, someone also cut cushions on out motorbikes so that the seats won't burn us when it's time to leave the restaurant. It's a must visit place while in Bagan with lovely people, yummy food and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

Excellent choice for lunch. Slightly more expensive than usual but worth it. Good variety of salads and curries. Favourites were the potato curry, eggplant curry and green mango salad. Very interesting guacamole with pumpkin. Helpful staff.

This is the best vegetarian restaurant among a few Vegetarian Restaurants in Old Bagan. There are many different Vegetarian menus available. Dishes are delicious and the price are also reasonable.

The owners are very helpful and they take care all customers very carefully. They also provide seasonal & traditional deserts as present after the meals which are also nice and cool.

If you are a Vegetarian traveler visiting to Bagan, I highly recommend to enjoy your meals at Khaing Shwe Wha vegetarian restaurant.

We loved the food so much we came back every day for either lunch or dinner. It’s so tasteful, fresh and suitable for vegans too. I already miss this place. Highly recommend, even my friend who isn’t vegetarian enjoyed this restaurant the most! We tried a lot of different dishes, everything was nice but our favourite is the green mango salad and golden pumpkin curry. Also the service is very great and they are so friendly.

Don't hesitate to go there! The meals are sooo delicious (we ate there 2 times and i always had the tea-leaf salad and the tomato peanut curry and the golden pumpkin curry, both with coconut rice). Very nice atmosphere with all the photos of former guests at the walls! The staff is super-friendly and helpful. The prices are more than reasonable!

Good vegetarian restaurant within this area. They served delicious food with reasonable price. The owner is friendly and nice. The restaurant is clean as well. Recommend to try their tomato peanut curry, it’s delicious and special.

Had a great breakfast here after going to the nearby temple. We were the only people there, which made the service excellent. We ordered pennywort salad, pumpkin curry and tomato peanut curry with sides of coconut rice. Everything was delicious and we even got a few sweets after our meal.

We are here 2 times a day for 3 days. It's a family restaurant. The food is very good and fresh, but please don't be shocked when you see the kitchen inside ;). Trust me, we never experienced problems after we are here. For every portion they will also serve you a smal snack, green tea and fruits (all included). The family is overwhelming nice. The waitress girl is so cute, beautiful and polite. The mother too - she even draw Tanaka on my face for free. The boy is also a tuk tuk driver. He can speak very good English - you should definitely go on tour with him, he grow up in Bagan, knows the area and every pagoda (inside and outside) by heart. With his help we had the very best sunrise. Thank you for the very best time we had with you :) :) :)

Just lovely restaurant with awesome food and very helpful staff. Love the tagline - "Be a Hero, Be Meat Zero". The food was just so yummy and delicious! Kids loved it too!

We ate there twice during our stay in Bagan and the food was great both times. The menu is big so lots to choose from. They also gave us some fruit and tamarind sweets after each meal. I tried the tamarind leaf salad, the tea leaf salad, the tomato and peanut curry and the coconut rice.

I was very glad for their's kindly and friendly service. I think that this restaurant is good for Vegetarians. And the prices are reasonable. And I like dessert service. They gave me various fruits. So I enjoyed Burmese fruits. Thankyou for your friendly service. I will surely be back when I travel Bagan once more😊. From 🇰🇷

Ate here twice during my stay. Super nice service, Large Menu. The mango juice is excellent so are the Tamerin and Tea Leaf saladas

This place is amazing. The penny wort salat and the aubergine salat were really good and tasty. The staff are so friendly and explain you all that you ask. And they give some extra cacauets and chips and fruit. Really nice place.

Good food and have free appetizers and desserts. But, coconut juice is not recommended.

Good food and service:) I ordered only fried noodles and lentil soup but I was offered some snacks before my order came and 6 kinds of desserts after finishing my meal!

Chill local spot, good prices, great food, animal cruelty free. Nice fans, cute lighting, in a well appointed roadside spot between some epic Pagodas.Tea leaf and tomato salads were the perfect thing to cool off the 100 degree temple hopping heat. Best tea leaf salad I have had in Bagan. The staff was of course, wonderful, because Myanmar. Bottom line, would eat here again.

Excellent menue with lots of vegan options. One of the best restaurants I have been to in Myanmar.

What an incredible place to eat. We came here twice during our stay and we ordered different dishes each time. All of them were amazzzzziiinnng. Some of the dishes to try are the tomato peanut curry, bean curd curry, fried mustard leaves, tea leaf salad, tamarind salad, aubergine salad, coconut rice. The whole family serving us was incredible!! Such nice people. And special thanks to the waitress for suggesting us dishes and for serving us complimentary food :)))

Also don't be afraid to try new dishes. They all are really good and different and worth the try.

Perhaps the friendliest restaurant hosts in Bagan, plus good quality and freshly made food. Not to mention all the free tastings and snacks. Definitely recommend the veg tempura.
