Ma Mae Naing (Unforgettable)

We ordered curries and they came with a no. Of side dishes. We were quite surprised by the spread of food served. Food was really tasty and good. The lady and guy who served us were very polite and fast. The lady even offered second helpings of the rice when they realised we finished ours.
Definitely recommend coming here for a great Burmese and affordable meal.

Food is delicious. We ordered one dish and received 7 plates with side dishes. Myanmar style curry and several salads are in menu - everything is very good.

Really worth 5*. The restaurant is really simple, but the food is delicious and the price is on the low side. The quantity of food is by far enough. The staff is really attentive and kind.

Google did not lead me astray! After a hot morning of temple hopping - I stopped by Ma Mae Naing for delicious river fish curry and the amazing seasonal veggie dishes!

The owners were super friendly and nice, offering me refills on rice and veggies (which I declined since I was so full!)

I ate here several times. The coffee is real and reasonably priced. I don't remember what I ordered, but it was all quite delicious.

Really enjoyed this place. Basic menu where you choose a meat curry (or veg) and comes with soup and a bunch of veg dishes. Everything tastes amazing and the staff are really friendly.

We’ve tried multiple restaurant in new bagan. And this one was the tastiest one. And it serves Myanmar food.

Staffs are super nice and polite. After the dishes are placed on the table, wow, too many vegetables with small dishes and too yum.

A westernized version of traditional Myanmar food.

Clean, great service, friendly staff, simple and easy to read menu, and delicious, healthy food. They also serve a small and incredibly delicious surprise dessert. Even though it wasn't totally traditional we loved the curries and the Vegetarian option. We went back several times.

Good food. Very simple menu with a Curry option (chicken, pork, fish, etc) plus seasonal veggies sides, a vegetarian option+sides and lastly, different types of salads. Really nice. People are as usual very friendly and they gave us some traditional handmade candies at the end!

So wonderful! We went and the other reviewes hit the nail on the head: SO MUCH FOOD FOR SO CHEAP! You order a curry dish and you receive sides such as white potatoes, green beans, tofu, squash, white beans,sprouts and eggplant. The owners are lovely. A bird pooped on me and the owners helped me clean up. Would definitely say it was one of my favourite places in Bagan.

What a charming family run establishment. Attentive, friendly and abundant portions. Very simple menu but they nail every dish. Where price meets quality, you’ll see it’s a great value. We came here twice in our 4 days in Bagan.

Great values for a fixed price of 3000 kyats ~$2.25 US received large variety and quantity of food.

We went twice. It’s very good local food. The family in charge is extremely welcoming. Do not know why some people found them cold. With us they were extremely friendly and very happy of having us again.

After a busy morning of exploring temples, this is a great place to recoup your energy with a virtual Thanksgiving feast of curry and Burmese veggies. Excellent value. I was a repeat visitor.
