Elsen Tasarkhai (Sand Dune Mini Gobi)

I enjoyed scenery of this place. Seems like surrealism like Dali's painting or The cell. We can play with slate, but we need to climbing sand by ourself bcz they don't have gondola or lift.

Great place to experience the desert is you don't have time to go to the Gobi. Big sand dunes you can walk on or ride a camel through.

Nice touristic attractions: camel rides, holding an eagle on one's arm (after they fitted you with a protecting glove) and last but not least: family photo shooting in traditional Mongolian costumes. It's worth it, you will have pretty memories/souvenirs 🤠

Amazing sand dunes! Less than 300km away from Ulaanbaater, it is a great place to experience the desert, without having to go as far as the actual Gobi. Amazing landscape, with opportunity to ride camels and horses. Also not far from the ancient capital of Kharkhorin.

This area is a must see that is really convenient to get to, as it's on the way to so many other top destinations. You've got a lot of variety in a relatively small area: dunes, river valley, mountains, unique rock forms, ruins, etc. Great hiking in the area and of course breathtaking sand dunes. This is an area we really enjoy sharing with tourists and crews.

Cool stop if you are traveling along this main highway... right off the main road, no off-roading required. The sand dunes are little small, but you have to touch the sand.......ultra fine, silky smooth...makes US beach sand feel rough! There is nothing else here... no restrooms, just camel riding and sand.

Very lovely place to visit. It's surrounding the woods, grasses, mountains and steppes. Blue sky is super. What an awesome natural beauty. I wondered that grasses are growing middle of the sands.

Great place, beautiful view and grass, sky, water, animals everything was beautiful, if i got another chance to go, i will definitely go. :D
