Playa Agua Blanca

A long stretch of beach interspersed with rocky areas where the surf really crashes. There are some restaurants along the way but almost all of them were closed when we visited on a Thursday. Nice and relaxing and we should have brought our umbrella to sit and enjoy it.

We accidentally came here to cool off the engine from the rental car. The beach is beautiful and clean. No trash like the Vivo Resorts beach (which is a shame and will be posting pictures of that soon). Are T a restaurant, don't remember the name and it is just beautiful here. Might stay here this area in the future.

Beautiful area, but no swimming. The waves are always too big and it's just a dangerous place to swim. There are some very good restaurants right on the beach.

Clean beach, almost private, there are natural
Swimmingpool that allow you to have a bath even the sea is rough. Waves can be a bit rough but even with red flag you can enter 2meter into the water with respect. Recommended local food at Sunami, but other restaurant will serve great as well. If you like it more stylish visit Mestiza at the end of the beach. Free Internet and clean accessible bathrooms plus a shower at the beach. This isn’t Mazunte or Zicatela, no nightlife but lovely people, amazing sundowns and a lots of palm trees at the beach.

Beautiful beach with not many people around. There’s a couple of seafood shacks in case you want to grab a drink and some food.

Nice and quiet! There is all u need! A little store, restaurants and an amazing beach! Not to many people. And maybe most important of all, there are lifeguards! The only beach in the region that i found with lifeguards.

The beach itself is kind of boring. Unless you really like a calm beach where you can unwind and that does not have many tourists. However, I was lucky enough to see whales breaching and that made all up for it.

Nice and quiet beach. Barely anyone all day, and good food and drink options nearby, despite being a bit isolated (but still easy to get to - took a Delphines bus/Van to Agua Blanca intersection [40 pesos] and walked 15mins to the beach)

Great place to go away from the touristy place of Puerto Escondido !
You can taste amazing “oysters” called ostiones that are just HUGE !!!! We had it at breakfast and it was just incredible !

Awesome place in Oaxaca. No crowds. A bit windy. But awesome.

Cute little stop with a few restaurants. We stopped by here because we were going doing a trip from Mazunte to Puerto Escondido by scooter. We wanted to cool off our scooter for 15min and got a drink at one of the restaurants on the beach.
I would not necessarily spend a whole day here since there’s not much to do
