Donas Donuts Ajijic

Best donut shop in town, only donut shop in town.

Normally, operators of 'the only game in town' tend to be mediocre at best, since a lack of competition makes them complacent.

This is not the case here, because Donas Donuts are frankly excellent by any standard.

Service is friendly and prompt, and prices are fair, given the absence of real competition.

Highly recommended if you've a hankering for great donuts.

Amazing Donuts!!!!! Donas is easy to get to right off the main road. Great selection of fresh pastries. The custard empanada are heavenly.

The cafe latte is maybe the best we've had lakeside. Donuts are delicious. They do put giant raisins in the manzana empanadas but everything else is so good, it's forgivable 😁

The buttermilk donuts are the best. The breakfast and hot chocolate is delicious too. Avoid going on the weekends since it gets super busy.

The perfect devils' food donut. Get there early or things are gone. I stop here every time I'm visiting Ajijic.

Much better than I had expected. Good prices and excellent food. Donuts according to my granddaughter are sublime. She did not stop at 1 and is a skinny 10 year old. Laid back , basic and friendly, a charming little place to drink some decent coffee, chatter, eat and watch the world go by.

American style donuts. Various breakfast meals. Great egg, ham, cheese bagel for breakfast.

They have a wide variety of fresh doughnuts and coffee available, and everything is delicious. I particularly enjoyed their glazed Old Fashion and Buttermilk doughnuts. Parking is also available in a convenient location.

Nice breakfast followed by a solid donut. Americana was great too. Looking at the few negative Nancies on here all I will say is, y'all need to go back home. This is not the place for you. Shame on you. Have some respect for your host.

Very old building with hand hewed beams, large and comfortable space inside or out.
The staff is warm and friendly (don't forget the tip jar...).

Great donuts, wide variety of delicious ways to get fat. You really can't go wrong with whichever one you choose. Puts Krispy Kreme to shame both in size and in price.

The donuts are delicious but if sweets aren't your style the bagel sandwiches are tasty too!
