Charming little lunch spot. Great food and service

From the main road, Food Lake Container doesn't look like anything much. Indeed, the container apect of the place is the first thing you see. However, once you walk through the entrance, the picture changes and you find a perfectly charming little eatery.

Service is warm and friendly, and the food on offer is frankly excellent. Prices, too, are more than fair.

Highly recommended...

Maybe my favorite lunch spot! Probably the most diverse/expansive menu I've seen here, 11 pages I think. I look forward to going back and trying more of their different items.

Service was great, very friendly, knowledgeable waiter, he and all staff seemed to be observing all covid-19 protocols.

Udon noodle soup was excellent, we all really enjoyed it. Guacamole was very good. The vegetable quesadilla was exactly what you would hope for. My father's burger was great, with toasted bread and excellent fries. The avocadito and lake rolls were delicious, much larger than I thought they would be also.

I really enjoy their outdoor space, with the interesting art and abundant plants, it's also surprisingly quiet for being right on the caraterra.

We really enjoy this place. Friendly and attentive staff. A nice variety on the menu from burgers to pasta to chicken teriyaki. Good food and reasonably priced. We have tried burgers at other places but this is hands down our number one go to for a great hamburger.

Everything is good here. The ambience is very eclectic. All Outdoors with fries very wide variety of menu. Victor the bartender and the manager(Cherma) here are very interesting and personable to talk to. The best Aracherra steak plate and Pina coladas I've had in Chapala! !

I like coming here for their carne asada and I am never disappointed. I also enjoy the salsa they prepare at your table. That and a cold beer. Good service too.

We came later in the evening, very busy Sunday. They were out of burgers. The food we ate was delicious. Service was outstanding. We will return to try the burgers.

Best food in town! Great variety of food and the chef and owner is super friendly! Can’t recommend it enough. Ignore the confusing name and try the food. You won’t regret it!

Such an odd name for the restaurant. For a year thought it was refrigerated units delivering ingredients to other restaurants. Well, no more. It's a true restaurant and the food and beverages were great. Stopped for lunch and had arranchera fajitas. So good, and large portion. My son ate about half, after he finished his shrimp quesadillas. Definitely will go back.

The owner and staff are amazing, always friendly and will go out of their way to help you in any way. The food is incredible, I haven't had anything i didn't like, pretty sure I've had everything on their menu. You can't go wrong

We enjoyed the chorizo tacos and table side salsa is delicious. I hope to be back before I have to leave again.
9/2019...So I don't know how to make a second or new review... but I have to say the service is outstanding, who goes to the liquor store for what you want while they make your appetizers! Again I loved my chorizo tacos like an addict the other meals were super good. I will come again and again!

Loved it! Delicious! A bit of a wait for the food, but worth it! Went back 3 times.

Started off with one of if not, the best Margarita in Mexico. Lou had excellent lemonade. She ordered the Fettucini, which as she put it "could feed a family of four and still have leftovers", I opted for the Filet Mignon, prepared to my perfection. Today was our first time and will definitely be the start of a new favorite location. Highly recommend

Great strawberry Marguerita. Wonderful crispy spring roll enjoyed for a tasty treat on the side. Wonderful service given with a smile.

Too many restaurants in Mexico has fair to poor service compared to US restaurants. However, this is one of a few exceptions. They have excellent service and good food. Only bad thing is that it is an outside restaurant, and like many other outdoor restaurants, the flies and mosquitos can be a problem depending on the season and time of day.

The food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and quick. I would definitely come back again.

Best guacamole in Lakeside. Ditto the chilaquiles. Interesting sushi options. Don't go during fly season (June - October); they're horrible.

I thought it was very good. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were willing to veganize an non-vegan dish and their vegetable tempura was delicious.

Great food and inexpensive. Lot to choose from, they offer Good desserts as well. Good service with friendly staff.

From the atmosphere to the food selection, it is exquisite and one of the top places to eat in the entire area. Great staff!
