I have stayed at light hotel multiple times. My experience at the hotel was always great. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they greet the guests with big smiles and make them feel at home. The staff at the door, serving the breakfast, answering questions at the front desk are all pleasant to talk to and seems enjoy their work, I can not remember all their names but I am happy with the services that they provided. The room service is also excellent, the room is always clean and everything is ready and at the right place when I need them. The servers are professional, Saiful Malot has done a great job to clean and prepare the room. I enjoy my stay and will come back again.

It was a pleasant surprise as we were not expecting much from a hotel which wasn't a chain. Extremely pleased with almost everything.. room was a great size and well maintained. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to the person at the lounge, he was great. Breakfast spread was good.

All good and great! However, the rooms were smaller than expected as in the pictures shown, the camera angle shows the room being 2 rooms and I imagined it would be a much bigger room. So do watch out for that. Everything else was great in my opinion.

I would like to thank all the staff who made our stay very pleasant.

One suggestion I would make is to allow housekeeping to deliver food ordered online directly to the room instead of having us to go down every time.

One of the very grand Hotel in this area! The Hotel was beautiful and the decor was modern and stylish.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, just the sound proofing wasn’t that good maybe because of the room only partially carpeted!

One of the best buffet breakfast that I have come across that spread with a wide variety of food as you can name it! It also provides good facilities and amenities.

Great location to all shops, mall, hospital, bank and restaurant at a walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My visit was excellent. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom is very nice. Everything is very nice and clean. Every day you get complementary snacks, bottles of water and sodas. The only thing I could maybe complain is that I couldn’t find how to turn off the bedside lamps and that the TV programs were not that good. By the way the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were excellent (if you like Indian food).

Magnificent service from lobby to room. All staff have very nice smiles and warm greetings. Everyone were friendly, even had a friendly chat with one of their room cleaners name Irfan.
Looks like they had fun working here. Keep up the good quality!

Yousuf the MD provides the best service.If you need anything , directions, sights to see or even how to use the grab app properly he is the guy to ask.
The Hotel is absolutely top of the line in quality.
Food services are outstanding.
Rooms are kept very clean, and restocked with beverages daily.

The room was extremely clean, with no dust even under the bed. Special thanks to Mr: Asidul who served me with utmost sincerity. The view is great facing all the mountains. The breakfast was amazing, and I can say it's better than high-priced hotels. I will definitely pay a visit again.

Really nice hotel, comfortable rooms and huge breakfast buffet! You can enjoy Malaysian and international food.

The Light - literally represents the meaning of the name of the hotel. Its truly an awesome place to be either for business or leisure. The staff's are very warm and polite. I tried their restaurant / bar at Level 3, morning breakfast at lobby restaurant. Food taste excellent, service is beyond 5 star hotels, mostly the people. They are all fantastic staff's. Keep up the great job and service.

Very nice rooms and service especially the housekeeping crew, Azidul. He made the rooms very comfortable every time after the rooms are cleaned during our stay. Overall, worth the stay with breakfast included and interconnecting rooms available for our teen children to stay next to ours. Breakfast has plenty of varied delicacies, love the local taste offered and yummy dimsums! Tq

This is very good hotel to stay, all staff respects the customer and respond immediately. Excellent staff, excellent service, excellent cleaning, excellent location, also have lot of verity of food to get in breakfast.

Very friendly and amazing experience staying in the light hotel! Shanto one of the door men is very friendly and helpful, as are the rest of the staff in the hotel. The amenities are great, and the restaurant is delicious. Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying on the mainland near Penang!

The best hotel staff I’ve ever met. Very friendly, responsive, and hardworking. The parking space was full, but they opened a space for me. The space was meant for pickup trucks that comes in the morning, so they just asked for me to change parking in the morning. I love this kind of hospitability. The management chose and trained the staffs greatly. The only fault is that my room got a utility broken. The air ventilator inside the toilet doesn’t seem to work. Other than that, fantastic 👍🏻

Edit: Forgot to mention about breakfast, absolutely amazing. The variety of food and the choices for hot drinks, perfect. Teh Tarik perfect. Though a bit pricey, adult abour rm50. Children around rm30

The overall experience at this hotel was excellent. Everyone at the hotel is always smiling. The men at the front entrance, always glad to help load or unload your vehicle and greet you, the door personal, always there to open and help load carry or direct you anywhere you need. The people at the front desk are always happy to assist and greet you when passing by. The café, always as great fresh food. The staff there is always willing to help in any way.

I had a fantastic time staying at the light hotel, the staff were all fantastic and there was a very well kitted out gym. The location was on the mainland, very easy to get to work but also close enough to get a taxi to the ferry port to go to the island

Very good hotel. Best breakfast spread. Best hotel in mainland Penang. Rates are good, too. Better book via hotel website, you'll get better rates. Good local restaurants across the road as well.
