Kuala Kubu Baru Wind Valley Camping Site 新古毛风之谷露营地

Came on a day when I had the entire lakeside area by myself. Had a peaceful 2d1n trip. Ducks come up in the morning, occasionally there are 2-4 friendly dogs checking around the area.

Toilet and sink area is clean, well equipped and maintained perfectly!

Love that most decoration props are recycled items.

Last but not least, the owner, Mr. Tan was so kind and helpful. As a solo lady camper, he went the extra mile to ensure I'm comfortable by offering a mat because I forgot to bring mine. He also offered an apple, boiled egg and extra night light.

Would definitely return again in the future!

Pros:
1) Great shower pressure
2) Clean and friendly accommodating camp owner
3) Spacious for kids to run around
4) We stay at zone 7 which we had the shelter all to ourselves. So it was a private area. It's near to toilet and wash basin
5) It's near the lake so can hear the monkeys and crickets clearly
6) Thankfully not a lot of mosquitoes

Cons
1) We stayed at bottom of the hill where the lake is. So there's hardly any wind which can be quite hot
2) if you're a light sleeper, can hear the foot traffic cos zone 7 is quite near to toilet.

This was a pretty great place for camping. We booked 3 lots near the river area. There is a very steep but decently flat constructed slope down the hill where even regular sedans should have no issue and won’t scrape the undercarriage of their car. The lots are from the top of the hill to the bottom near the river. Unfortunately when we went it was raining extremely heavily.

Grassy area to pitch tent, the soil is pretty compact and doesn’t get too muddy even after a long and heavy rain storm.

Overall I highly recommend this place. It does get a little chilly at night but not too cold to the point of needing blankets or sleeping bags. Around 23-24 deg celcius.

Good facilities, locations by the lake and hills around as background.

Owner put effort in making the place presentable and comfortable for campers.

Strict SOPs to check in and fill forms for each families.

Clean and spacious toilets.

Recommend campsite no 7 if you have several tents, it will be much more spacious.

The toilets and the whole camp site are super clean and well managed. Owner and staffs are very friendly.
The view facing pond is perfect and my furkid enjoyed the trip as well

If you're looking for wild camping experience without sacrificing essential aminities such as shower and toilet this is the campsite you should give it a go, you get to choose between camping in an area surrounded by durian trees or right in front of a lake which you can fish in.
Both spots are equally beautiful.

1. Very clean and well managed camping site.
2. For camping grounds in the orchard (Z8 and above), each plot is logically separated with decent privacy between each other. For camping grounds along the lakeside, walkway is also designed with a comfortable distance between tent occupants and pedestrians.
3. Not forgetting, thoughtful considerations that went into the safety aspects for children.
4. Parking areas are well designated.

I wish all visitors of this site to continue keeping up with the principles of the site owner (hygiene, safety, fun), for the common good of campers who share the same priorities for outdoor activity.

3. Amble parkings with good ground, not muddy nor dangerous slopes.
4. Facilities are complete and in good working condition.
5. Lots of grass around.
6. A place I will visit again.

Super duper love the organiser from wind Valley KKB. The place can be muddy and slippery during raining day, but the atmosphere and facilities (toilet) are great! Don't you worry about the toilet cleanness, it is in tiptop condition as everyone is taking care of it very well.

3. Designated camp spots accordingly and is not too close to other people.
4. Nice view of the lake and a lot of fruit trees.
5. Surprisingly no mosquitoes.
6. Can fish in the pond and there's fishes.
7. Toilets and communal area is very clean for a camping spot.
8. Can be quite cooling in the evening and night.

A nicely setup and well organized campsite. Ideal for family and entry level campers. Toilets are clean and the sight at night is breathtaking. There's also a nice recreation area in the reception, with comics, board games and archery for children.

A word of caution, zone, we notice that there's rat holes alongside on the slope before the lake (zone 1). In the morning, we realized that our garbage bags are bitten on the sides, apparently the left over corns are attracting the attention of Mickey😊. Do be a bit cautious on your food if you are camping in that zone.

Friendly staff, but the weather really hot, make sure you bring mini portable fan .

A newly opened campsite. Friendly owners. Have cleaned toilets. Due to low elevation from asl. It was hot and humid during the days when the sun on top of u. Night time is a warm as well. But it was windy and cool due to rain the we went. Get a tent with high ventilation or solar/battery powered fans to keep the heat down.

A great place for campers to chillout and relax , there's a lake just by the campsite and the fishes are free to fish , if you caught it it's yours to keep 😀
Owner is very friendly and helpful, just remember to make his job easier by collecting the garbage into designated spot .
Toilets are super clean as well.

It was a wonderful experience camping here. We brought our own tent and camped in Zone 13A. The owner was friendly and the toilets were overall clean. Campsite was well maintained. I generally recommend Zone 11 and Zone 13A for best experience.

The staffs are warm and very helpful. Cleanest facilities (shower, toilets equipped with lights and hangers). Too bad cannot swim. The site is at a slope, so campground are not even. Car access no issue, though do be careful as the roads are quite steep.

Good place for beginner campers. Gated guarded with supervisors overnight at a nearby hut. Felt safe and taken care of.

Yes it can be quite crowded from camp to camp and noisy but that’s the vibe of the place: family oriented and a pretty happening place. Boss also say if any durians fall down we can eat it foc ❤

Downside is early morning can hear nearby mosque prayers.

Very satisfied experience. Affordable price and good service. Portable fans are provided in the tent. The toilet was very clean. The only disadvantage was there is no hot water provided when you were showering
