Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park

We played almost all of the activities. It was an awesome place! The rides were scary but fun! I highly recommend Rivet Town Rollers, Samba Gliders and Acorn adventures. For all ages young, middle, old you must try: Independence Day: Defiance and Epic Mission to Moonhaven.

We underestimated the size of the theme park. This place feels magical! The weather makes it even better! We had fun! There are rides that cater to both kids and adults. Attractions are also assigned to a movie theme. We managed to catch some shows and ride almost everything, as there was no waiting time during our visit (Friday, January 2024)! Carnival games are available inside the theme park with separate charges as well. We enjoyed ourselves, and we will definitely visit again in the future!

Amazing theme parks for great family holidays. So much fun, rides, food, fond memories to enjoy. Off peak accomodation rates and all day unlimited rides make it even a better deal. Enjoy it while you can.

The theme park was a lot more fun than I expected! We spent the whole day there and enjoyed almost all the rides. I do wish there were more small vendors serving hot snacks, though. And more vegetarian options, as one of my friends is a vegetarian and options were very limited. The soft serve ice cream was really nice. Didn't stay at the hotel, so can't comment.

This was definitely the most unforgettable experience of my life. I can't believe I'm saying this but this place gave me the Universal Studios vibe. I've been to both places and I can say that this place might actually be one of my favourite theme park. The place is nicely designed based on each theme. The park offers a perfect blend of thrilling and impressive attractions. They definitely did a good job in designing those attractions. One of the things that left me stunned was the breathtaking view. I'd honestly recommend wearing a sweater because it is freezing especially on rainy seasons. The place is 6000 ft! 😨😨 However, I absolutely hate the queues at every attraction. In addition, everything was kind of pricey and some rides were closed. Nevertheless, I love it!! It's the perfect place to spend time with family. ♥

The theme park is great! Bought the tickets online for a cheaper price and downloaded the app for the virtual queue. I managed to take 10 rides in total from 12pm-6pm here. Overall, it's a great experience and the weather is cold throughout the day.

Plenty of sitting area, and free drinking fountain. Food options are wide as well. Sadly, the cafe at the Ice Age part wasn't open duringy visit. I love to go there for my lunch.

Downside during peak season visit: All the lockers will be taken very soon. I only have 2 person belongings but was left to take the big locker which costs RM50 for the entire day.

We also had to travel a long way to the other entrance as the main entrance has been closed.

To build such a high end theme park, Genting must have invested a lot. The attractions are much better than I anticipated, I always thought I would only see such quality & beautiful theme parks oversea, but to be honest this is in par standard with Disneyland & Universal Studio! Also I enjoyed the show performed by our locals, I can see they are not just doing their jobs, they are enjoying their job!

Our experience was perfect, it was an off-peak day at peak rates (on a Friday) which probably meant there were much lesser people than usual… rides were all 5 mins and lesser! We went with kids 4/6 years old and did feel like rides were limited but design and theme of the rides were really on point! It was cheaper to book online but the website was a huge pain, somehow the transaction kept failing and took better part of an hour before managed to book it the day before… tried different credit cards and on different devices and browsers, finally succeeded on a chrome mobile browser but not sure why… we stayed at SkyWorlds hotel which was really convenient, we just brought the small water bottles along with us and kept our bags in the hotel, as the first ride we took already did not allow for us to bring the bags:…. There was a wet ride and take note that you would get reallly really wet which is pretty cold up in genting so do cater for that ride separately like bringing rain coats or a change in clothes/socks/slippers… not nice to walk around with drenched shoes and slippers… all in all very impressed

Love this entertainment city.. I'm still amaze at how genting have changed through the years an still maintaining the original concept of this place.. Love that there's always things to do to keep everyone busy and the variety of cuisines offered here and most of it within walking distance, and of course the comfortable weather if it's not raining.

Amazing place, lovely view and being at the top of hill the weather is also amazing ! Amazing rides and too much food options :)

A must visit when you are in Malaysia :)!

Visiting Genting Resort Theme Parks was an exhilarating experience! The variety of attractions catered to all ages, from thrilling roller coasters to family-friendly rides. The attention to detail in the themed areas created an immersive atmosphere, and the breathtaking views from the outdoor attractions added an extra dimension of excitement. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an unforgettable day of fun and adventure.

The theme parks were crowded with people, which at times affected the overall experience. Long lines and crowded walkways made it challenging to fully enjoy all the attractions. Despite this, the diverse range of activities and entertainment options still made it a worthwhile visit for those willing to navigate the crowds.

I have uploaded few videos, unfortunately it's raining during the time. So, to get full enjoyment in the outdoor theme really affected by the weather. Option, in case of bad weather, indoor theme park also as good as outdoor theme park too. 😎

They manage the theme park well. Somehow, they maintain the crowdness so we do not have to wait more than 20 minutes. You may spend more money, about MYR 20-50 for the locker and MYR 15 for the coat.

Newest outdoor theme park at Genting Highlands, very clean and fun! Entered around 1130am and not very crowded despite festive season. Download apps to book time slot will save lots of time for queue. 4D VR experience was top notch as well as exciting rides of roller coster etc. Few eateries available. Really nice to play in breezy cold environment!

Skyworld hotel, nice facilities, rooms were great, with nice cooling enviroment, next to it is a theme park, very convenient and there is big shopping centre and vast options of restaurants and snack stores.

The only thing to give feedback about sound insulation is cars with loud exhaust noise and party goers. Trying to sleep through the night can be challenging, especially for light sleepers...

This may be a small theme park but it's the best theme park in Malaysia. Compared to Legoland, the facilities are well maintained, operational and clean! The themes are on point and the rides are really fun! We went on a weekday and there was hardly any wait times for the rides. We managed to do the ice age roller coaster 4 times! We managed to do the samba gliders 3 times too with hardly any wait times. We didn't need to use the VR queue except for the boot camp which was mandatory. Everyone was also amazed with the independence day ride which was so realistic! Other then the rides, the ability to go in and out of the park during the day is awesome. It's ashame two of their biggest rides are not operational due to the company Genting hired to build the whole theme park going bust. Hope those 2 rides are operational soon in the future. Overall a very fun day out for the family.

Not crowded on a thursday. Most rides have just 5 to 10min queue time. Need to download the skyworld app to reserve timeslot for selected rides. Night at the museum was unfortunately closed that day. The entire park can be covered in 4 to 5 hours without much crowd. Overall it is worthwhile to go. Cheaper to get the ticket online (bought via klook). Onsite one day adult pass is 217 rm

The theme park was surprisingly fun! There were many rides of various thrill levels though I'd say most are suitable for adults (wouldn't say it's very kids-friendly as I find some actually quite thrilling). The scariest was probably the Space Defender thingy (where you spin upside down) and the most fun one was the ice log one. Not much queue for the rides (max 30 mins for one ride) and the virtual queue system actually helps. Would definitely come back again.

Glad it's not malaysia school holiday as the waiting time to rides is rather manageable. We are able to enjoy most of the rides but unfortunately it was drizzling. Overall experience was good as the staff here is very helpful and friendly.
