Fragrant Escape in the Cameron Highlands: A Review of Lavender Garden

Nestled amidst the cool hills of Cameron Highlands, the Lavender Garden offers a delightful escape for all senses. While not a vast park, its charm lies in the vibrant tapestry of lavender blooms and colorful flowers.

Here's what I loved:
A feast for the eyes:The star of the show, of course, is the lavender. Rows upon rows of fragrant purple flowers create a stunning visual, perfect for capturing envy-inducing vacation photos.

More than just lavender:The garden boasts a variety of other blooms, adding pops of color and texture to the landscape.

Relaxing atmosphere:The gentle scent of lavender and the cool mountain air create a calming and refreshing ambiance.

Activities for all:Whether you're looking for the perfect photo opportunity, a relaxing stroll, or a chance to learn more about lavender, the garden has something to offer everyone.

Gift shop and cafe:Take home a piece of the experience with lavender-infused souvenirs or indulge in a refreshing lavender ice cream at the on-site cafe.

A few things to keep in mind
Limited size:Compared to some sprawling gardens, the Lavender Garden is on the smaller side. However, its charm lies in its quaintness and focused theme.

Potential for crowds: Due to its popularity, the garden can get crowded, especially during peak season.

Overall, the Lavender Garden is a charming escape in the Cameron Highlands. It's a great place to relax, take in the beauty of nature, and learn more about this fragrant herb.

I would recommend this place to:
*Anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to visit in the Cameron Highlands.
* Photography enthusiasts.
* Families with young children.

Tips:
* Visit during the cooler hours of the morning or evening to avoid the crowds and heat.
* Wear comfortable shoes as the paths may be uneven.

I hope this review helps you decide whether to visit the Lavender Garden on your trip to the Cameron Highlands!

Nice shaded place to visit. No worry if coming with kids during broad daylight or rainy time.

Clean & well maintained.

Lots of shops where you can buy souvenirs & foods.

For RM20, this place is highly recommended.

You can come here when it rains because it’s sheltered. Entrance fee might be too expensive for certain people but it’s worth it. There’s 3 different types of lavender in this place and you can even try the lavender ice cream that is from Hokkaido. It tasted very interesting, it had a faint lavender scent and tasted like vanilla. The bees pollinating the lavender are so cute. There’s also strawberry picking, but I didn’t go. This is a nice place to visit.

Very professionally done, rm20 per adult entry. It is completely under covered, so very good for rainy days. It's easy to park too. They allow our mid sized dog if obedient (no poo no wee not aggressive) & on leashed.

Fresh varieties of plants and flower. Huge place. Toilet is cozy. The lavender ice cream taste like milk with hint of lavender scent. Delicious though. There was a signage said that they will charge us if we took photo on our phone ourselves (they want us to hire their photographer). But no one is checking our phone upon exit, and we do take plenty of photos. So, all is well.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I initially thought RM20 was quite expensive for the entrance fee compared to the other attractions on Cameron highlands. However, I decided to still come because I thought I would just see it once just to satisfy my curiosity. It was a huge garden with lots of nice and beautiful flowers. They have many variants of lavenders, and many other species of flowers as well. Lots of nice places to take photos too. The only issue is that when I was there, their Holland lavenders looked sad. But perhaps cause the weather is not suited for the Holland variants.

Very huge and nice place to visit. Very enjoyable and relaxing...with all the beautifully setup gardens of flowers and plants.

Have a strawberry picking zone too...at rm12 per 200gm.

Got cafe to relax afterwards too.

Entrance fee ok la...not that cheap but worth it.

Highly recommended.

PS: Not so wheelchair friendly as there are steep walkway going up and down.

A great place to take photo and smell the lovely lavender from Taiwan.
It's really colourful and well planned. The space is quite big too. Our family enjoyed coming to this place.

This is a good place for sight seeing. You can see nice flowers around, take photos, sit on the bench enjoying the view.

You can also go to their cafe and try the lavender cake. Their lavender ice cream is pretty nice too.

They also have strawberry picking area but we didn't have a chance to try it out.

Overall, it's a good place to spend time with your family or friends.

Well designed and gardens were clean and beautiful. It was also shaded so we didn’t feel the heat. Overall, it was worth the trip. Suggestion to the mgmt would be to place some labels on the name of the plant/flower so customers can appreciate them better.

The farm is quite small considering the ticket price for one adult is RM20. The plants and flowers are not bad, by the way. They’re all real plants, some has blossomed, some has not. There are more than one species of lavender, the area for each species is not large so we finished our trip here really fast. The lavender ice cream is actually purple milk ice cream 😅 I prefer the strawberry here, much bigger and juicier than those in the neighborhood’s farms.
Cats are chubby and hospitable.

Such a gorgeous place to spend on a cool evening.
We are welcomed by the beautiful lavender plants and some cute spots for photographs as well.
The lavender ice cream is a sweet treat to enjoy inside ☺
Further ahead are other flowers and a beautiful walkway. There is a small stream with koi fish as well.
On top there is a section for strawberries and in season we can pick them too.
Definitely a nice place to stroll and spend about an hour.
