I was impressed with the way an inspection team from FAAN carried out its assignment yesterday. They pointed out areas of improvement.

The place is not looking too good for an international airport more money should be invested in this airport, and the transportation coming out and going in to the airport is too outrageous.

I have travelled like 3 times through the Owerri airport. The services are okay but not up to the normal standard

The airport happens to be one of the best in the country in terms of infrastructure and passenger service. I think people travelling by air from the south east should use that airport because even the road that leads to the airport is smooth and fine.

They need to improve on the timing especially while waiting for luggages .

Well, this is one of the busiest state owned airports in Nigeria and found in a city where her residence has a good flight travel habits and attitude

The airport is not internationally standard, it is under construction. It has good facilities for domestic landing.

Nice facilities, nice staff, flights are often on time, nice security staff.
The arrival hall has no space for waiting, only few chairs, so your guests need to wait outside. The toilets are clean and always maintained. Food sold in the premises are nice and affordable. There are couple of outdoor restaurants outside the building. The access road to the airport is currently under maintenance, so you may want to arrive early enough for your trip.

Very friendly staff at the airport. They did a good job in maintaining social distancing for costumers.

It's a very good airport serving domestic passengers and international cargo handling. The infrastructure is continuously improving. The airport is strategically located.

The airport is good, However it still needs some improvement. The airport needs to be expanded and upgrade to international standard due to the tourist attractions the city of Owerri offers. If the government will comply to this, I see it becoming one of the best and busiest airport in 10 years time.
