A magical place for me, one of the best where I lived nearby. The 400-year-old history of the Lighthouse awakens the imagination as a showcase of the town of Urk right next to the bay.

Such a nice little town. We were there in early spring and the weather was quite good: sunny but a bit chilly from the wind. We had a stroll along the water and finished it in the nearby harbour. The lighthouse was very cute for the picture :)

Beautiful place! A nice opportunity to visit this local landmark, climb above to see a village and sea from the top of Urk Lighthouse. Paid entrance, € 3 per person. Take a stroll around the lighthouse and a harbour, it worth it.

Loved it . Beautiful area . Great restaurants. Cool lighthouse. Love all the old churches and houses . Talking about Urk in general. Never went in the lighthouse but it looks cool at night

From this place u can see windmill energy farm of Holland. nearby is small beach which u can stay and plenty of chairs for sitting
